Now, word is that Guillen and Thames aren't close to being ready. Maggz is starting to find his stroke but hasn't looked like himself since 2007. Polanco has gotten on base, but he's never been a "slugger". These are our oldest and highest paid players, and they aren't getting it done. Maybe Pudge, Renteria and Sheff weren't the only ones that should have been shown the door.
