Re: C. Villanueva & T. Chandler
I've watched Charlie V. with my own eyes consistently scoring on the low block. He also can hit the 15-18 footer. He is both an inside and outside scorer who is coming into hs own. Lebron telling Danny, go get Charlie V. Not only that, Charlie V. wants to come here b/c he knows he's a good fit with Lebron. Did you check out the wiretap article?

Yah, all Charlie did was cite the Mc Donald's All-American game they played in. And I can't think of many players who wouldn't be a good fit with Bron in an all-star game.

I don't know if I'm sold on either Villanueva or Chandler. I'm afraid they may fall into the "soft" category, which we were plenty this year. We need some toughness and balance on the roster.

Just one question for you Bucks fans. What did you think of Mo Wiliams' defense before last year?

Re: C. Villanueva & T. Chandler
I think that Mo Williams could develop into a very good player. He is more of a shooter than a point guard - which is not that much of a problem for the Cav's, because Lebron is the initiator on offense when the game is on the line.
Mo is not a good defender. He is undersized against SGs. He can defend second tier PGs, but struggles against the better PGs. There are many situations when he does not play strong defense, often playing below his capability. He hardly ever puts pressure on the offense, which eventually allows teams with good ball movement to pick him apart.
Mo has a tendency to disrupt a team both offensively and defensively with his shooting - by shooting early in the offense, and often. That tends to hurt his team's defense in a couple of ways. First, it creates a lot of long rebounds that can start an easy fast break for the other team. Second, it forces his team to spend more time and energy playing defense. When his shot is going in, he looks great. When he is missing, he can really hurt his team.
Mo is an excellent rebounder, which is probably his most valued defensive capability. I think that this is something that happens, in part, because he is such a poor defender, that the man he is guarding often has trouble finding him to block him out when a shot goes up. But Mo is very quick and active, leading to a lot of rebounds for someone his position and size.
When things are going well, he can be a great player, but he does not deal with adversity very well. He often looks to be soft minded. He seldom leads a comeback. When his team is down, he tends to play lackadaisically on defense. He seems to have trouble playing hard on both ends of the floor. Coming to Milwaukee from Utah, he had a reputation as a defensive pg. Once his offense developed in Milwaukee, he made less of an effort on defense in favor of concentrating on offense.
That tendency to be great when things are going well, but stumble when the going gets tough applies to both offense and defense, but I think that it shows up more on the defensive end.

I like how you are thinking. I am not a Cavs fan, but I don't want to see Lebron play for anyone else but In Clev.......unless he comes to play in Atlanta LOL. And I think that getting both Chandler and Charlie would be solid moves. You would have would have someone else that can help Lebron score. and someone else that would help him on the defense. Lebron would not have to be Mr. Everything the whole game and he would be the finisher of games. All you would have to do is finish of your roster with some role players. like Matt Barnes
Mo Williams / Brevin Knight / Daniel Gibson
Delonte West/ Keith Bogans
LeBron James/ Matt Barnes
Villanueva/ Joe Smith
Chandler/ Ilgauskas
I think this team would be good enough to keep Lebron Happy.
