Report: Celtics shopping Rondo and Allen
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

Re: Report: Celtics shopping Rondo and Allen
Ray Allen? That 19.7M worth of salary to match, but he is expiring. Rondo is 2M, but would be expecting a big salary at the end of the year. I'm not sure what they are looking for in return, but I'm not sure we could put together enough salary to do it, nor should we. With each up for free agency at the same time, who would you rather have Joe Johnson or Ray Allen? Joe is my answer.
If they are willing to trade Rondo, I think it indicates that they are worried about a bidding war for him in 2010. While he'd be restricted and they could match, they might be worried that he'll fetch an offer that is fiscally unsound for him once Allen, Pierce, and Garnett are gone.
