Matt Forte to be sidelined at least until late next week

The Bears are being extra cautious with running back Matt Forte and plan to sit him through at least the next three organized team activities, according to an NFL source. There's a good chance Forte won't participate in any of next week's four sessions, although he will be re-evaluated on Monday. The Bears conclude OTAs on June 18.

Forte tweaked the hamstring area of his left leg during Wednesday's practice. A source said an MRI determined that the injury was not too serious, although Forte apparently referred to a ``pop'' before limping off the practice field. He has not complained of soreness, and said on his Twitter page that he would be ``good.''

If there's a positive to Forte being sidelined, it will give backup Kevin Jones a chance to get extensive work with the first team.

The Bears also continue to be cautious with the knees of defensive tackles Tommie Harris and Marcus Harrison.

Noticed that as well. Together, Harris and Harrison make one good knee.

Less worried about Forte.
Turn down for what?
