Look What Dumb Suns Fans Created!!

Post#1 » by JMac1 » Sun Jun 7, 2009 6:09 pm

All of this Amare hate, he doesn't play defense, he is injury prone, we need to rebuild, we suck, we are old crap has created ridiculous trade fodder, that Suns' fans perpetuate!! For people to actually believe that Rondo (A 10pt 8asst 4reb LAST YR!!) and Ray's expiring one year rental, is worth Amare, LB AND the #14 is nonsensical!! For every team's fans (when they want to make their team BETTER) to post some ridiculous trade, believing our players have no value, is insulting to say the least. Where did they get that? They are actually comfortable with these proposals. If we say we want McGee, Jamison and the #5, they act as if they were giving up Kobe!!!! INCREDIBLE!!

Way to go Suns' fans, Coro, Gambo and Ash. Amare and any other player (Shaq was 3rd team all NBA) game hasn't devalued them, the City of Phoenix mouth has. The team went 46-36 with a horrible first half coach and no Amare the second half. Wow! Rondo is worth An All NBA player, a 6th man of the year AND Earl Clark??!! Amare isn't worth JaVale McGee????WTF?? Am I in the twilight zone??

Steve Nash deserves heat (I get on him to protect Amare), but he IS STILL better than RONDO, BY A MILE!! Nash never played any defense, he never played above the rim, his game hasn't slowed, show me where?? It slowed in that horrific offense we ran early in the year. For the people who go around and place Nash behind any PG other than Paul are CRAZY! Look at his numbers. Find me a PG last year that shoot 50, 40, 90 avg 10 asst and 18pts!!

LB is a machine. When he plays the 2, he is lights out for 5 MILLION A YEAR!!! ONLY 26!!

JRich isn't needed because of his salary and LB, but he is far from a scrub. 28!

Amare, if you forgot, look at his numbers, then YOUtube him. 26!!

We are not the Memphis Grizzles, stop aiding and abedding these crazy fans!! Please stand up for our players and let the Celtic's, Bull's, Wizard's, Net's, Memphi's etc front office and fans know, they are crazy if they think we are going to fall for the bananna in the tail pipe. Tell them how bout Wade, LeBron or Rose come here. If we need to make a move to get better, and that means trading Amare, I am no fool, I am okay with that, but you can't trade your 56 Vette for a 76 Pinto! Build value, don't devalue. What fans think matters, we buy the tickets and support the team. If Kerr doesn't think there will be a riot here if and when trades Amare for crap, he might just believe "the Hype" and trade him for nothing. Since 1988 P.E. has said "Don't believe the hype", and I don't. But as far as fans go, they "see what the look for and hear what they listen for." IF YOU CAN HEAR ME KERR LOOK, HEAR, SEE AND FEEL REALITY not media propaganda.... Dude (Amare) is a proven player, as is LB and JRich, but McGee, the number 5 or 2nd pick?? Could be busts. Losing franchises trade stars for rookies and unproven players, Not us.

I don't have a problem asking Memphis for Gay, the #2 and Conley. If they don't like, keep losing!! Same goes to Washington, NJ and Chicago. Those teams SUCK! They can't strong arm us. We will do the strong arming. I will build value in our players and beat down the value in theirs. That goes for Bosh soft tail too. Shaq called him the RuPaul of big men for a reason, DARN right Amare is better than him, all day long, 5 times on Tuesday. Put in a game tape of Bosh, then watch Amare......... PLEEZE!

I am out.

Point proven.

Here is a guy or gal posting a reply with no substance, no point of view, no support of why he or she posted "stay out", nothing. Great post.

I changed a little of the wording. But you have to be direct, speak with a strong backbone and conviction or people will bully you.

Ah Ah Ah, just asking for a why you feel that way response. Post I agree or disagree..."Stay out?" What does that mean, why stay out?? Ranting and Raving?? How you figure? Stating the facts is what I call it. I live in Chandler. I listen to 620, 1060 and 910. I know Ernie on 1060 feels that way. But just support your opinion or stance with some substance. Don't become repeat parrots, like a cult "get Amare out" "get Amare out"...."He plays no defense"..."He is a cancer" and such...that is weak with no thought put into it. Then everything becomes a talking point!!

If you missed it Tastic. I wasn't dissing Suns fans who don't share my opinion, I was dissing Suns fans who DEVALUE our players. Read the post again. I never said You are Crazy if you don't want to keep Amare. I said he has more VALUE and you re doing this team a disservice by saying he isn't worth anything. I used evidence about these crazy trade rumors floating around as to the damage that has been done. Plus, Whe a Wizards fan believes that McGee and #5 has more value than Amare... C'mon

Before his eye injury I would have agreed that Amare was a guy you could probally still build around. The thing is he had a few microfracture surgeries and is going to need more in the future, now he had a damaged retina which is most likely wont ever fully recover from. With all those injuries he wants a max extension which in the end isn't really worth it for a guy with all those injuries. If another injury happens he can ruin 1/3rd or so of the Suns salary cap space for the next 5-6 years. It's just not worth it man for a guy with all those injuries.

I agree that the Suns are in a bad situation because they will have to sell low but remember Amare said he was opting out next season and chances are the Suns wont resign him so arn't the Suns better off getting some young talent and draft picks rather than just letting Amare walk for nothing? It may not be much but at least they will get something.

Maryvale when did you stop being a jack and began posting rational thought?? Lol! First his knees, he has only had one micro in 05, since then, he knees has not caused him to miss a game yet. Getting scoped (Like Roy has 4 times) is very minor. Kidd and KMart are in their 30's and doing quite well after their microfracture. So do I want to assume his knees are gonna cause problems in the future and sell low because of it, my answer is no, I will roll the dice on that. Second, his eyes, I really don't see (no pun) any issue with it. I just keep referring back to Sugar Ray Leonard who boxed. So, I myself am willing to keep him on that issue, but again as a fan or a GM that is our story. Amare is fine, provide his numbers, J Kidd and Kenyon Martin as evidence. His eye is fine, eg Sugar Ray the BOXER. Maybe someone else may be willing to chance it. Again I have now problems with trading Amare. I would Take #5, Jamison and McGee. I would take Gay and the #2 (but ask for Conley). I would even take Yi, Anderson, the #11 and Bobby Simmons. Those are acceptable.

Amare has devalued himself as much as anyone.... boasting how he will be Artest-like... claiming he is in the Brons,Wades,Kobes class... pretending like he is loyal to the Suns/fans but going on a citywide self promotion tour, practically assuring ANY team who has him will be subject to a future bidding war. Nothing wrong with trying to add to your coffers, but the way he has gone about this sticks in a lot of craws. And if anything has made potential suitors wary knowing a bidding war is ensuing .... injuries aside, that alone devalues him in my eyes more than anything .

He hasn't lived up to his own billing.

I might add, I find Nash's comments to be no better and frankly feel his phoenician end is near too.

Back to StandingTallAndTalkative, hey... he has put Kerr-plunk on notice... and the rest of the league. If offers come, they will be considered and it should be no surprise if he leaves..

Some may think he is worth much more than others, some much less.

I look at the opportunity to improve this team.
One way is moving Amare, for it appears he could exit for nothing.

What is his value then ???

Me... i would not bitch if 2 yrs from now, in our Nashless world we had with Rubio instead of Stat... Gay won't make a difference, just as any other player involved... its a sub-superstar for a potential superstar and arguably the one lock in this draft. You don't get many chances to get a player of his (Rubio) caliber... just as the same with Amare.... only difference is, I think we have seen the best of #1..... and it occurred 3 yrs ago. My Amore for Amare is ova

OP, I have yet to see a Suns fan who thinks that Barbosa/Amare/14 for Ray/Rondo is a good trade.

wow this thread is deep. JMac1, I give you props, for a fresheman, that was not a bad post at all. However I gotta agree and disagree with you a bit. Here's my take: Amare's play and attitude this year is to blame for all the negativity created by PHX fans and media. Would I prefer to keep him over any proposed trade? Hell Yeah. But if the guy wants to walk out, then let his a$$ walk but at least lets get some value for him.

No need for insults

Amare is talented but every time he opens his mouth I cringe. He is mostly talk now a days, has never committed to playing defense, is injury prone especially his knees and has a gigantic ego problem. You want to give someone with these flaws a max contract next season?

Barbosa while I do like him always disappears in the playoffs. I personally would start him over j-rich in the season but Barbosa struggles mostly when it matters.

Rondo is a stud point guard. You cannot judge solely on statistics. Did you watch the playoffs? Rondo was averaging a triple double over a span of 5 games.

Allen is a pure shooter who can carry a team over when he's on.

I for one would not do the Amare+ Barbosa+ 14 for Rondo and Allen although I'd do the following.

Amare+ Jrich+14 for Rondo+ Allen+ Perkins

Nash is going to slow down guys, not many 36 year old point guards play much longer. We need someone who can run this team in the future and Dragic is not the answer.

Tastic- I was just doing a play on words because of what this ridiculously titled thread is called.

I watched Rondo in the playoffs. He's nothing special. He did well those 5 games, but there are probably just as many, if not more where he does very lil or nothing. If he weren't on Boston, no one would be talking like he's all that great.

Lol So 5 games of averaging over 20 10 and 10 in the playoffs is a fluke for a young 23 year old player?

He's good, but not a franchise player like Amare is...

Ask any GM who'd they'd trade for and it'd be Amare probably 25-5...

I'd take Rose, DHarris, Paul, Parker, Williams, Nelson (good contract) all ahead of him in terms of young PGs 25 and under/thereabouts

Although Amare has some weakness I still don't see the point of shipping him outta here. Give the man a chance and let's see what he does next season if he's still around.

Return to Phoenix Suns
