I don't think Cerrone is particularly good, and am sure Pulver is not. But Brown vs Faber, with Aldo on deck, is awesome. Gamburyan at 145 is an awesome addition too. If they can add Kid to the mix, that's a hot division. Varner, Hicks and strikers like Cope and McCullough deeper in the wings.

Looks like a good card? How could you not like Cowboy Cerrone, Cowboyronnie? He went to war in fights with Razor Rob and Varner. I would like to see Cerrone get a rematch with Varner for the belt. Aldo is nasty, should be good fight with Swanson. Can't wait for Faber to take his belt back.

I remember Cerrone just not looking right in the MT, but maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's just the upper body rhythm thing he does.

Looks like a pretty good one. Seems like WEC got the main card vs. preliminary card fights right for once, though I wouldn't mind seeing Manny's fight.

I like Mike Brown to defend the title.

Will be nice to see Aldo against a guy I've heard of (although knowing you for being Pulver's only win in forever may not be a good thing).

Cerrone is not actually good, but he's WEC good, and I've really enjoyed the fights I've seen him in, so I'm hoping it's more of the same in this one.

Pulver has no chance at beating Grispi, but at least Grispi will get some big name recognition from this fight.

Looking forward to seeing how Manny does at 145. I really want the WEC exclusive weight classes to get more prestigious and lucrative so we can see fighters who should drop from 155 in the UFC come to the WEC to fight at their ideal weight without losing money and attention. I'm thinking of guys like Frankie Edgar, Phillipe Nover, and I'm sure there are more who would benefit from dropping to 145.

I want most of the UFC to drop to between 120 and 155. Seems like a healthy weight for the fit. Maybe Tim Sylvia deserves to be 170.

Cowboy has a chin and alot of heart but Im not that impressed with his skill set. Watch round 1 of his fight with Varner, Jamie totally dominated before he started breaking bones. Had Varner not gotten hurt Cowboy wouldnt have made it out the 3rd round. CBR is right, his MT is too robotic for my taste, especially his upper body, he's stiff he doesnt extend on his punches and lacks head movement. Jamie is gonna beat this fool down in the rematch.

Anyone know if this is on TV live in Canada? I hear in the US it's on Versus, but I don't think we get that in Toronto

I agree with all these except I like Banuelos to beat Jorgenen. Could go either way though. Jens might win as well.

right on, I'm not familiar with Banuelos, he has a good record. I am more familiar with Jorgensen, you may be right maybe Banuelos wins.

Swanson will not make it out the 1st with Aldo, Aldo is one of the most explosive fighters in MMA, I am going out on a limb and taking Brown over Faber. Brown is just so strong, I have a old dvd of Brown and Genki Sudo at 155, Brown was man handling Genki before he got caught, I really think MB is legit and will be champ for awhile. I hope Cowboy wins so he can get a fight with Jamie and get KNOCKED out, the Cowboy hype is irritating. Jamie is plain and simple a level above Cerrone, had Varner not been hurt it would just have been another impressive win for Jamie. Broken hand, Broken foot, c'mon who could fight like that? Cowboy's strong showing vs Varner was fools gold.

Really interested in this card, only seen a couple of WEC's thus far so still trying to get more of a feel for these lighter divisions.

I do have to say I want to see Brown defend his belt. While I like Faber within the cage, I do cringe when I see him outside of it. I think people would make more out of a Brown loss than they would if Faber doesnt regain his belt, so thats part of it for me aswell.

That totally SUCKED!!! that Faber broke his effing hand late in the first round. To have this evenly matched, high talent in the octagon, and then one fighter getting disabled like that. Like two great boxers in a title fight, and one of them badly twists their knee. Not fair. It's amazing this fight was as good as it was with Faber so physically limited. That left hand...cost fight fans possibly a lot more great action.

Really too bad about Faber's hand. He was still able to make a real fight out of it, though. Brown/Aldo will be a good one.

Other than the bummer about Faber's hand, that was a very entertaining card. Some great skills on display. My only thing was I thought Jorgensen won. I also wish Pulver didn't get choked out so quickly.

Two nights of exciting, non-PPV MMA

You really had to pay attention with a bunch of the fights. Turn your head, or not make it back into the room in time, and they were over.

Jorgenson got robbed, that fight was fight of the night IMO.

Jose Aldo gets KO of the night

Sucks about Faber's right hand, could have been more of a war. Now I can't wait for Aldo to kick Mick Brown's ass.
