NP Max & #2

I doubt that the team's goal is to try to convert him to a full-time 3 or 5, but instead try to use his athletic abilities to add versatility. 1 of the other 3 bigs will likely be traded (right now it's looking like Kaman), and when that happens this won't even be an issue. The article also mentioned him playing the 5 first, but RealGM and everyone else focused on the 3. The mention of the 5 possibly alludes to Kaman or Camby being moved and Griffin putting in minutes alongside of Randolph at times. We'll just have to wait and see how everything plays out. It's still too early to jump to conclusions.

B-Griff is most definitely versatile enough to play 3-5.

Offensively he can definitely play SF in terms of handling the ball and being able to score, but as a SF his problems would be range and also I'm not sure about his ability to defend SF's. Either way I don't want a big and strong guy like that out of the paint at SF as opposed to banging down low anyways.
