Thank goodness we pulled that game off. It could have very easily gone to the Magic.
The Magic made some key adjustments. They kept the Lakers from going crazy in the paint like they did in Game 1 and they controlled the boards.
We have to do a better job on the boards. They got tons of offensive rebounds because of better positioning and the lack of boxing out by the Lakers.
Lewis also got going which is very dissapointing since he can't create his own shot very well. All we had to do was to stay on him. I thought Pau and Lamar left him too open on many of his shots specially in the first half. That has to be corrected.
That said, I give the game ball to Pau and specially Lamar. Lamar must have had a Snickers bar or two at halftime because he came to play in the second half and his buckets kept us in the game during a time where both Kobe and Pau were really struggling.
And Pau got the job done in OT.

The big adjustment that worriers me a bit is that they are putting a big guy on Kobe. They have Turkoglu on him. Kobe has trouble with tall lanky defenders. He is going to need more pick and rolls or he needs to get rid of the ball quicker and set up Ariza and DFish for jumpers.

Just seeing this picture reminded me of the thread about Rihanna vs Vanessa Bryant. I was first a toss up for me, but after seeing this pic, Vanessa all day without any doubts. Rihanna looks like a angry peacock.
