I see the Thunder grabbing Trevor Ariza via free agency . He can shoot the ball , is a great athlete that can run with the core , and can defend multiple positions. He wont cost as much as Gordon , and with the Lakers aready over the tax , and need ing to re-sign Odom , a nice sized offer from OKC could steal him away.

Im not keen on ariza on our team. Playing with Kobe, Gasol, Odom and being coached by Phil Jackson makes him look better than he really is. How many players has Phil got bigger contracts elsewhere only to see them flop? !

i like ariza. it'd be interesting putting him into this starting lineup at SG.. he's shown he can capably defend that position. i don't think he's nearly as good a 3pt shooter as he's shown this post season, but he's been improving that part of his game every year so you never know.

i think another team's going to pay a lot for his services and probably end up over paying. i wouldn't be upset to have him in on the team since it'd really make our lineup interesting.

I agree about his 3pt shooting. I think he's getting good looks because of the Triangle and the amount of defense Lamar, Kobe, and Gasol attract.

I also think he gambles on defense too much. he gets away with it at the moment because he is playing on a great team. with great big men be hind him. For OKC, he'd end up getting us burnt.
