You Guys Must Be So Proud ...
To have this whiny, petulant fan on your side ... pretty pathetic ...

To be fair most Celtics fans don't even like Simmons (see Celtics Board, I've got your back against rogue homers, don't ever say I didn't do anything for you).

Very proud. I take so much pride in how many other people were born within the Boston area.

Do you think most Celtics fans think like Mr. Bill Simmons? I'm just curious. Because I know quite a few of them ... including myself.

Actually as much as I dont really like Simmons I do read his stuff because he often writes about Boston sports. If your a regular reader you will learn that he isn't much of a Celtics fan - as he is a 1980's Celtics fan.
Personally I don't feel he really captures the feelings of a modern Celtic fan - nor is his basketball writing half as insightful as he imagines.. Its kinda interesting as he gives the impression to outsiders that he is playing on his fan base. But his fan base reads about half his columns and says WTF. He was WOEFULLY out of touch through the whole C's run last year. You could tell he lived nowhere near Boston. Even with that column - I kinda agree with the Lakers fan. He comes off as whiny *itch.
His baseball insights SEEM better but thats probably because I am not such a devout Red Sox fan..

I can't really argue with the article that much.
Seemed like the touch fouls with 3 minutes left really turned the game; but, although they were questionable they were vaguely justifiable.
I wouldn't crow about the demise of Bynum just yet, he still has a chance to come back.

Good points. I've never seen a self-professed Celtics "fan" enjoy a title run LESS than Simmons did last year...

ESPN writers stink. Luckily for us, most of them hate the Celtics and love LeBron and Kobe

LA got the calls, as always. Pietrus wasn't allowed to guard Kobe.. Good article.

Pietrus can't guard Kobe. If you think otherwise I'm not sure what to say.
