I don't like our new lineup, I'm really don't like the fact we are throwing Miller instead of Cardinal

Ya I think it would be unanimous that that is one nasty trade..

Jefferson>>Harris
Miller+his expiring contract>>>Simmons
Foye=>Yi
Boone and #11 don't even come close to making up the difference. Nice try, but this blows..

Man Devin Harris is a great player. I totally I'm interested in him. I am the kid who never wants to trade Jefferson. I still don't think I could pull the trigger. But It's fun to think about!

Draft Mullens, Earl Clark and Derozan/Harden.

Harris
Derozan
Clark/Yi
Love
Boone/Mullens

That is a lot more clear of a direction than we are going in now. But obv it's not the best value we'd need more.

We still don't have a #1 option. Even if value was good, the fit isn't right.

Devin Harris looked awesome last year, however, i think his play was inflated by having a green light to basically do what he wanted. Jefferson is far better value wise, though i would be very interested in pairing them together here.

I think we'd need to get Lopez just to START balancing the scales on that one.

We give up too much. Even if you think Jefferson and Harris are equal value (which I don't but with Love you can at least argue moving a Jefferson for PG like Harris).

The rest of the deal is then Miller(exp), Foye(exp), #18 for Simmons(exp), Yi, Boone, #11. I think Miller and Foye are more valuable than any of those other guys alone and definitely not worth moving up 7 spots.

Apart from Harris and Lopez, I don’t have much interest in the Nets as a trading partner… Carter’s not going to help in the long run.

I'd offer a package based on Love picks and expirings...not one including Jefferson at all.

Why am I seemingly seeing Harris' name come up in a significant amount of trade discussion? Granted it's just RealGM banter, but is there a reason for this like an article that came out or what?

Its frustrating will all the possibilities of small deals that would be good for both teams, that this is what the NJN fans bring to our boards.
