Exactly. He left the team he came away 2 wins shy of winning the cup for the team that he just lost too. That alone explains why most non Red Wing fans want to see him lose. He doesn't deserve a Stanley Cup ring. He rode the team that just won the cup. It would be different if he were still with Atlanta last season and then decided to join the Red Wings.

Lol. That was strange that you weren't posting during the series so far. Why can't I have to much luck? You got to watch the Red Wings hoist the cup last season. Plus, wouldn't it be so funny to see Hossa lose yet again to the team he left last year?

Yeah ive been in Europe the last month and have missed everything. how sad.

While i know we did win last year, i cant ever not want my team to win. I understand your ill will towards Hossa, but i like him

Last night was a throughly dominating performance. one of the best i have seen. After the initial 7 minute flurry, we controlled all aspects. i was a little unhappy with some of the late cheapshots, but frankly it happens so often to our players that i am no longer shocked by it. I wouldnt be surprised to see this go seven, but until MAF gets over his Detroit mental block, i am confident

Penguins need more leadership. I've seen nothing out of Crosby that seems like he should be captain. If anything he should be the guy that the Captain has to straighten out. But hey if you want your star player to try and be an enforcer, go for it. I would think ignite the offense, but be the team pest...why not? Maybe thats what Lebron James did wrong.

Being a Wings fan, I'm fine with what Hossa did. But I can see why Penguins fans would be pissed that he bolted. Its not like the Penguins are some crap team like the Islanders, they are one of the best in the NHL and defending runner-ups. It just seems stupid.

The Conklin thing is funny. Guy does the exact same thing, but not as much was given up, and no one even blinks.

It's not like Conklin was making much of a difference on either team, though. Hossa can change the game single-handedly.

Trust me, I don't want to see Conklin hoist the cup either. I see him just as much as complete garbage as Hossa. Only difference is, in both positions and for what the Pens needed, Hossa>>>>>>>>>>>>>Conklin.

The thing that pisses me off about Hossa the most is, he left a team he came 2 wins shy of winning the cup with. To me, I would of thought he would want to try and EARN the cup with the same team. Instead, he bolts for the team he just lost to. That's a joke.

It wasnt just leaving the Pens for Detroit. . . he was leaving Therrien. It was clear from the start (and made clear by both parties) that they were not a good fit together.

Had Pitt made thier coaching change a few months earlier. . .things could have been very different

This game last year, Pens lost to the Red Wings and they hoisted the Cup at the Mellon with me there. Tonight, I'll be there again and hoping for different results. Gotta love when players and media don't use all the tickets they were given. Got 2 in F for 300 to total. Last year, spent 500 for D section. I am awesome. Now i can't work because I'm too excited.

Rob Scuderi just made a sensational play to quite possibly save the game for Pittsburgh.

Rob Scuderi could play goal for Detroit and look just as good as Osgood. The game was so awesome. I have a headache from how loud the arena was and my throat hurts. Best 300 I have ever spent.

tough loss. Though Pittsburgh outplayed us terribly the first two periods, we had no step or swagger. The third was all ours, but just a little too late.

I didnt think MAF had that great a game, as opposed to what the announcers said, i think his team just defended so damn well. all the Pens were blocking shots and back-checking and really just giving us 0 chances. good defensive effort, hell great one

Game 7 should be a doozy

Game 7 for the Stanley Cup. Nothing better in sports.

I have lost a ton of respect for Wings fans after last night and the series in general. Coming into this series, most thought the cup was theirs. After last night, most are screaming conspiracy, saying Bettman wanted this and wants Crosby to win the cup. I guess they forgot about their team getting 2 PPS late in the 3rd period? xbl, you might need to teach them how to be a fan.

Yeah, in my area it's like 50% Bruins fans, 30% Red Wings, 20% Habs. I'll let you guess which 80% consists of the most douchebags. I wanna see the Pens pull it out and let them cry all summer long.

Happens every year in every sport. Right now, people who still have ' their ' team in it are about as passionate as you can get as a sports fan. I remember when the Flames lost to Tampa, and people STILL talk about Gelinas 'goal' that clearly went in, but was reviewed for what seemed like hours and not counted, only to have Marty shelf it on Kipper for the win and take it to a game 7.

Basketball fans are upset that Stern clearly wanted Lebron and Kobe in the finals, and coincidentally, they have the most free throw attempts of anyone. The Steelers got all the calls vs the Colts. . . .every year this happens, in every sport. It does get frustrating, but when you are so close, its hard not to look for things to point the finger at.

I understand that, but the conspiracy crap has been going on for the past year, including last years playoffs and it is getting real old. None of that stuff went on before it all happened. The fact that people truly believe this is the case is very sickening.

Just came back, crazy game. When Detroit scored I thought the momentum shifted, that shot hitting the crossbar was pretty crazy.

Great game, great ending and congrats to the Penguins! See you next year guys.
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it. That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move...and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.'
