My buddy talked me into it. He does that crap for extra cash. Nothing major. But he's good. He only charged me for the paint and CO2. My dad stopped watching the Pacers and NBA a while back so a lot came from him. He's purely an IU fan now. Between Living in Indiana and going to a lot of auctions, being a season ticket holder, and the options of ebay and craigslist. It didn't take all that long to collect. By the did anyone else go to the Make a Wish Foundation Celebrity Softball Game this weekend? Hibbert and Graham were in the lineup.

Re: OT: I'm looking for Pacers Memorabilia
I've been collecting cards since I was a kid. I pulled a Ron Harper Finals jersey card out of a pack and when I discovered they had the Pacers as well I started ebaying for them. That was when the cards first came out so they were on there all the time. They were more expensive then though. Now they are hard to find but they do cost less. The Pacers Final jersey cards are in four sets- Topps, Topps Gold Label, Topps Stars, and Topps Chrome. Gold Label has a subset too that are really hard to find. I have only ever seen one of those on ebay. Chrome as someone mentioned is numbered to 25 and there is a subset numbered to ten. I have only ever seen a couple Reggies go up on ebay and they were like $300-500 a piece. I have the complete set of Gold Label. I need like 4 from the Stars set and 5 from the Topps set. I do have one of the Topps Chrome cards- Travis Best numbered to 25. I traded for it at a card show with a Jason Richardson Rookie card. I figure it is the only one I'll ever own. I am planning to get all three sets and get them framed up real nice.
Nice Collection Greenway- Top of the Line

Lol. Im just saying had my buddy not done my xbox too. I saw a lot of poeple on craiglist that will paint whatever you want. average cost i believe was 45 or so i think that included one controller. or if your only doing the xbox. you could always go to skin it and get a pacers skin for the xbox and controller. not as nice but still nice.

I have an autographed Steve Stipanovich growth chart, life size, from the 84-85 season. It has my growth marks on it from ages 12-15 and the left leg is missing below the knee (stupid pet goat!).
I also have several autographed cards from the 84-86 era, and I do have a Pacers towel signed by Vern Fleming, Clark Kellogg, Terrence Stansbury, Wayman Tisdale, Stipanovich, Granville Waiters, Stu Gray, Jerry Sichting, and Jimmy Thomas. Not ready to part with that yet though, sorry.

It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

For anyone looking for cards, Checkoutmycards.com is a great site. You send them your cards, they post them so that others can buy. You can also find cards from multiple buyers and save the transaction costs that Ebay charges. I still find deals on Ebay though.
Also, if anyone has 2007-08 Stadium Club extras, let me know. I really liked the Beam Team retro inserts and have been putting together a master set. I already have the base, 1st day issue, and rookie autos. Only need a two dual auto's, two beam jerseys, but quite a few press proofs, refractors, and beam autos.

My wallet started crying and trying to hide as soon as you posted that.
But first I have to get my folders from back home to know what I have, my cards are all early-mid 90's stuff, probably nothing super rare but it was fun collecting and tough to find stuff downunder since I didn't have the cash for packs, I just scrounged for Reggie and Pacer cards.
<edit> So by the looks you can delay the shipment once you've bought to save postage, correct?

That, or spend $80. Probably both.

Yes, you can delay shipping. I had bought around 400 cards over a six month span, but did not have them shipped until they ran a special.
Another nice feature is that you can make offers of anything above 50%. I usually do this and put multiple cards in the offer.

Interesting, I may have to sell some cards on there. I just ordered a bunch after cookijf. OK, I wasn't actually cookijf, but I did order a few too many cards--can't afford all of them.

Re: OT: I'm looking for Pacers Memorabilia
Saving on postage is always good, I would probably buy stuff far more often but the postage to aus is nuts.
