One more thing I'd like to add - there's hell in no way I trade for Lebron James unless he agrees to sign a contract extension first. He's going to NY. I'd hate to lose one of the Big 3 plus Rondo for 2-3 months of Lebron James' services.

If LeBron comes to Boston for Ray/Rondo there's no way he'd go to NYK to play with Chris Duhon and Wilson Chandler.

They would win a chip next year with Paul/KG

Hello pipe dreamers. Cleveland will hold onto Lebron as long as they can and fight to keep him, he's the most marketable figure in the league and they just had their best season ever even if they choked in the playoffs. Dream all you want, Lebron isn't coming here.

Before the playoffs started my thinking was that if LeBron didn't win the title this year, he's bolting for NYC in 2010...and I still think this...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

LeBron James may not finish his career in CLE but he sure as hell isn't going to bolt in FA and they sure as hell aren't trading them while they are a contender. The Cav's franchise has done everything it can to try and keep James happy. To be honest his situation is in a lot of ways similar to Jordan with Mike Brown being his Doug Collins. It is probably time to sit down with James get his name on a 5 year extension and fire the coach he is comfortable with and hire the one who can tell him whats up and get him to a championship. I don't know who LeBron's Phil Jackson (maybe Phil himself) or Pat Riley is but I think that is what is missing.

Either way it will be awful for all involved if LeBron bolts CLE. This NY thing is completely stupid the ownership hasn't changed and the roster is garbage, what will it be after a S&T of LeBron or is he going to take a paycut? For LeBron to walk in FA he will have to leave 20 mil on the table and as well as an extra year.

I'd love to have Lebron on the Celtics. I don't care what he wears when he's not playing. He could wear an FU Cfan79 shirt as long he's wearing Celtics green during the game.

I still don't think LeBron will go anywhere, although losing this year makes it more of a possibility.

I've always assumed that if he goes anywhere, it will be to the Nets because of the Jay-Z connection.

It would take major moves for us to get in position to sign him; that kind of overhaul for a very slim chance at signing him well never happen.

A sign and trade will never happen. Cleveland will not concede defeat by trading him. If he tries to force a sign and trade to a capped out team, Cleveland will call his bluff.

1) It's NOT going to happen. It'd be more likely he would go to Minnesota than here. matter of fact, 'sota would be a great place for him to go if he was serious about winning.

2) I don't want him on my team, whatsoever.

Tell me you're joking. Whose going to help him in Minnesota? Big Al who gets injured every week?
