I see PHX taking a PG to be the long term replacement for the aging Steve Nash.

According to reports, Detroit is hignest on Earl Clark, James Johnson and Austin Daye. If Johnsons on the board at their pick, I don't see them passing him up

Added Hill @ 5.

Detroit is the hardest team for me to gauge, though I could definitely see the guys mentioned.

Maynor over Lawson is simply a hunch based on size and workouts, playing Lawson with Williams in the backcourt would be tough.

I think Suns go BPA, although PG is a definite possibility.

You got #3 right.

Presti's not looking at yet another big at #25. He's already got Kristic, Green, Collison & DJ White. Plus Durant is really long at the three. The notSonics are actually a good rebounding team already. The decision this year is whether or not to bring Serge Ibaka (last year's second 1st round pick) over from Spain as the fifth big. Here's a name for you to consider at #25... Rodrigue Beaubois. Measured out & tested great. Livingston making it as backup point guard is no where near a sure thing. He could easily be stashed in Europe for another year if the roster dictates. And remember, it was Presti who is generally given credit for finding another quick French point guard (Tony Parker).
notSonics 2016
Starters - Trey, Roberson, KD, Ibaka, Adams
Rotation - Payne, Waiters, Green, McGary, Kanter
Bench - Collison, Christon, Brodgon, Huestis
Stash - Johnson, Abrine
Cut - Morrow
Trade - Singler
Draft - Brogdon
FA - Green

Rodrigue could make sense at 25. So could de Colo, or anyone willing to go play overseas. People forget that US players can take teams up on that offer as well and play overseas for a year while not occupying an roster spot.

I'm hoping it's the one in the original post. Curry is a bad fit for the Wolves.

But Evans, Daye, and Casspi/Beaubois works for me.

Bad draft for the Kings. They desperately need a PG...and while Thabeet is BPA at 4, what about picking one at 23?

Curry can play PG, I know he isn't big enough for what the Wolves want, but with Reke gone at 5 what big PG is available?

If Thabeet is there they take him. Also, there's a chance they get to trade for Rubio (most likely if Memphis drafts him).

Also, why take a PG for the sake of taking one at 23 when you could take Calathes at 31 and let him develop overseas for a year?

See I couldn't tell which was your mock because the original post was updated a minute after your last post. Using your last post, I'd go...

#6 - Jrue Holiday
#18 - Earl Clark
#28 - Omri Casspi - Clark and Casspi are rather similar, but Casspi's got a year before he's coming over, and by then we'll have cleared out Miller, Smith, and maybe Gomes.

The Wolves greatest issue last year was perimeter defense. Jrue Holiday goes along way to fixing that. He's been called the best perimeter defender in this draft by many scouts/GMs during his workouts. Plus Holiday's size allows us to at least survive with Foye at SG in the mean time. Foye/Curry together would be disgusting.

If Clark goes as low as some are saying and he reaches any where near his upside then GM's are going to have a lot of explaining to do

No arguments here. This is how I would want it given the draft scenario.

Clark has a wide range in this draft. I agree that he's closer to late lottery, but just from what I think/hear teams are going to do he could fall.

I could see Holiday, I guess Curry just provides a scorer, which I feel they need. Is Curry, Brewer, Miller, Love, Jefferson really that bad from a perimeter D standpoint (given Brewer is supposed to be a lock down defender).
