The Alston trade worked out for both sides. People need to move on.

I never understood why so many rockets fans want to see rafer fail. It's not like he deserted them, he was traded. Why would it be nice to see Alston ruin another team?

BTW, you're way off on your analysis of rafer as a magic player. He has his bad nights, but....without rafer, the magic end up the 4th or 5th seed at best. He was responsible for the closeout win in g6 of the sixers series. The celts series was way too close, do you think anthony johnson could've averaged 14 pts, 3 stls in the last 3 games of that series? Hell it took AJ 4 games just to total 12pts. Rafer was responsible for a huge, much needed, win in g4 of the cavs series when nobody else was making shots. Now, in the lakers series, he just won us g3.

Your hate for rafer is clouding your judgment. He IS the reason the magic made it this far.

Alot of Rocket fans including myself want to see him succeed. Rafer is a good teammate and a decent distributer. Its just Iggy being Iggy...

Moofs agrees with spolgar and OrlandO, then restates what BayBaller did, and then proceeds to run himself through a carwash without a car for speaking in third person.

Oh speaking in third person is no big crime...

Unless of course, you do it the David Cross way.

Then that's something that Ron Artest wouldn't top. In a million years.

There was this David Cross skit, where he makes fun of folks whom address themselves in 3rd person.

There was some savage imagery involved, pertaining especially to Dogs.

The punchline is "You just got Crossed!"

I'll find it somewhere.

Re: Guy986

The quote comes from "Shut up, You Fscking Baby", Disc 1. I believe the track is "Fake Tits/Real Beer".

He goes into Pet Peeves, where he goes into people who refer to themselves in 3rd person...

"Sorry man, David Cross has got to do what's best for David Cross.

Sorry, he couldn't be here to tell you that. Maybe you could see him and maybe you could tell him how you feel."

It's around the 3 minute mark. It's hilarious.

Then he tears into Ricky Henderson. He just goes _in_.

Well the Lakers won the championship tonight and more or less breezed by the
Nuggets and Magic. It can arguably be said your Rockets were the second best
team in the playoffs in beating my Blazers and extending the Lakers without
Deke and mostly without Yao.

Thanks Norm, 'preciate it!

Gotta take this opportunity to say give the Lakers every last bit of credit and respect that's due to them at this most auspicious of occasions.

Rah. 15 or something. Go Phil.

Oh, also, this one should be dedicated to all those unconvicted rapists out there.

Well, them and Stephen A Smith, Charles Barkley, and every writer at ESPN that's attempted to haphazardly keep a dramatic storyline tied to every miniscule event tied to Kobe for the last several seasons. Vindication, boys! Some guy even wrote a piece in honor of your efforts, they did not go unnoticed! http://www.theonion.com/content/news/na ... tely_seeks

I really didn't dislike L.A. until this year, but their fans during the playoffs REALLY rubbed me the wrong way.

Bill Russell is EVERYWHERE! How much does the NBA pay him to be their folklore/legend/link-to-the-past/epicness marketer?

And does anyone else find it goofy that they picked him to give the trophy to L.A.?

Also I didn't watch but 4 minutes of the entire Finals.

Did you know that they named that MVP trophy after Bill Russell?

Plus Russell is the GOAT, so he should be everywhere. :D

Sigh. Have to agree. Grew to hate L.A. this year because of: their #$()%^(@#$*%&#! fans, the stupid &*(#%^*(#&%# media, Kobe's still not likable, neither is Farmar, Vujacic, Walton, Bynum, or Ariza (though I'd likely root for him if he was on my team).
