Stephen Curry ($1,677,840)

Minnesota trades:

Gerald Henderson ($1,514,280)

The Mavs were high on Curry, but equally high on Henderson, who fits better complimenting their lineup as George Hill and Beno Udrih were already taking all the PG minutes. With Henderson, the Mavs hope to have their long time starting SG

Cleveland trades Mike James (6,466,000) to Washington for Jason Maxiel (5,000,000) and Brent Barry (2,062,800)

Cleveland accepts. This better balances out my roster, as it moves Eddy Curry out of my rotation.

6,466,000 x 1.25 = 8,082,500 > 7,062,800

Johnson is one of the best third string point guards in the game. He has championship experience and will be another leader in the locker room. I know that he makes our lux-tax situation a bit worse but I think having another point guard is going to hive us more flexibility going forward.

I guess everyone missed the pictures of King James with Big Al and Rudy Gay at Stephen Curry's press confrence. LeBron wouldn't talk to reporters, but Del Curry was saying that Steph and LeBron are best friends and LeBron's dream is to play with Steph. I can see it now

They will be able to win right away. Look at what Boston did by adding KG, Alen to go along with the youngsters.

I will have my MLE, Biannual Exception, Vet Mins, 2 nice sized TPE's, Sergio Llull, and maybe Fran Vasquez to create the perfect bench to compliment my stars. My other starters(for now) are no. 1,3,4 in 3FG%, and Murphy is no.2 in rebounding after Dwight. Add LeBron to that and attract the older vets that want a ring to come to Orlando and get that hardware.

From the GSW board...

Bring in Lauren Jackson, Candice Parker and Svetlana Abrosimova from the wnba and they'd still kick ass whilst getting a good perv at the same time.

LeBron/Dwight will be epic! LeBron is coming people and the rest will follow.

Heh I went the rebuilding way AND I don't have this dilemma. I must either be a genius or an idiot for not trying.

You do know that if you are under the cap you would not get the exemptions and most likely would need to waive the TPE's (they are a cap hold if you are under the cap)

No worries with my cap situation when it comes to signings, as for the TPEs...

Thanks for the heads up as I did not know about the cap hold for TPEs. Luckily I still have avenues to pursue with those.

I will be curious to see how things play out in the LeBron sweepstakes as there are mos def a few teams that can make a real good sales pitch.

good luck to all... :king:

LeBron recognizes real talent, and he knows he can convert the President to a Wizards fan if he comes to Washington. Can you imagine this lineup in the future?

McGee
Griffin
James
Lee
Ellis

Most physically dominating team in the league :)

Shaq wasn't going to stay with us, so we needed to cash out quickly. We get a PF-C in JO, reserve scoring in robinson and picks.

Trade NOT approved since Charlotte previously traded McRoberts to Dallas (Samuel Dalembert traded for Erick Dampier, Josh McRoberts)

Josh Smith

for

Rodney Stuckey
Leon Powe
Rafer Alston
2011 1st round pick (Lakers)

Stuckey is a good young PG and Smith's attitude problems have no place in the Rockets organization, and the Rockets get another pick as its second generational insurance. Losing the newly-signed Wafer sucks too, but Powe's hustle will make up for it.

Trade NOT approved
Charlotte Out: Stuckey (1,805,040), Powe (2,200,000), Alston (5,250,000) = 9,255,040 x 1.25 = 11,568,800

Houston Out: Smith (10,800,000), Wafer (2,000,000) = 12,800,000 and since this is greater than 11,568,800 this trade is illegal

Also please include the salary numbers when you post trades.

The Mavericks feel Harrington is a perfect offensive compliment spreading the floor in our frontcourt beside Odom. With those two mismatches playing at once, opposing defenses will face a constant mismatch.

I'm waiting for an e-mail confirmation from the LA Clippers and then it will be accepted.
