What a game. It was just one hell of a moment when papi hit that homer. Good to see Burnett crumble under the pressure, hopefully we get to see that guy in October if the yankees make it. Nick Green god damn, he killed that pitch.

Interesting game, looked like a blowout, yanks came back, boston stands strong.

Solid start for Wake, great job by Okie and Paps. Good win, but I do agree they should have put the Yankees away early.

This is going to be a tough game for the Red Sox. Not really the pitching matchup your looking for, but maybe Penny can put together a good game.

I'm excited to see how CC fares tonight.
Does he revert back to 07 alcs form? Let's hope. I think he'll do decent for em though, which isn't saying much with the guys they've been throwing out there the past two days.

I'm mostly expecting to lose tonight. I think he'll pitch pretty well. I see Penny keeping us in it with 3 ER in 5 2/3. Will come down to the bullpens, I think Yankees win a close one 4-2.

The game doesn't mean much really. We all know when it comes playoff times CC's true colors come through :D

If this game does come down to the pen, the Sox win. I think Penny ends up getting beat up a bit tonight and CC pitches well.

I think we won't be able to get to the Yanks pen early at all, which scares me. However, their pen did do fairly well last night. Besides the Youk homer, that is.

Random, but, I love our pen. Ramon Ramirez is an absolute beast, though I'm a little worried about overusing him too early like we did with Oki in 07

Ugh. Just saw Pedro worked out for the Rays. That would blow, big time.

Penny pitching a great game. Will probably be done after 6 here. Not a dominating performance, but a very gutsy one. Used all his pitches and did the best he could. 0 earned thru 6 scattering 5 hits. Well done.

Well sorry Mr. Penny. That was a very good 6 innings from the big guy.

We don't have to. Oki is abck to being very dependable, and Manny is a force. Bard looks good from what we've seen and I trust Masterson in long relief. We don't have to overuse him.

Why? He is done.

Because of that one game in in Sept/Oct.
He is done, but I could definitely see him giving us hell if given the chance.
