The Pittsburgh Penguins Are Stanley Cup Champions

Does Detroit take care of business or does Pittsburgh pull off the upset?

Take your pick, post a final score and your game-winning goal scorer.

I've actually thought about getting piss drunk to the point where I fall asleep before this game even starts just so when I wake up, I'll see the results and not lose 30 years off of my life watching the game tonight. It sucks. If the Pens lose, I'll probably punch a hole in every wall in my apartment. If the Pens win, I'll probably cry and then go running outside into the streets making a fool out of myself and banging pots and pans.

And it sucks to because I keep seeing in my mind all day Sid hoisting the cup. I hope it comes true.

Anyway, I got Detroit. :D

See I'm not a homer!!!!!

I think the Penguins make history by winning a game 7 on the road...I think the last time it happened was '71 when the Habs won it...

I hate betting against Detroit, but here goes: 3-1 Pens, Fleury 1st star

No score after a quick 1st period, very back and forth in terms of puck possession. Pretty even period.

Yeah close one so far...its gunna be a tight game no doubt. Pitt has to be happy that MAF is playing well, he seems to have issues in Detroit.

I am very nervous and excited and slightly buzzed at this juncture. Exciting stuff

Maxim Talbot after Brad Stuart committed a bad turnover in the corner to Malkin.

1-0 Pitt

not looking promising

The Talbot goal should have been icing but no hard feelings. At this rate Pitt is going to win the cup

Worst lead you can have going into the 3rd it a 2 goal lead. Still close but think you're in pretty good shape to the point that you can sit back a little.

Wonder if Crosby's coming back

I still think the Wings are in okay shape. They aren't really getting outplayed and only down by 2 at home. If the score were flipped this game would be over.

I really thought this one was going to OT when I saw that rebound chance. What a save by Fleury.
