Lakers>All Other NBA Franchises

Post#1 » by LA Warrior » Thu Jun 11, 2009 6:20 pm

Not a fan of this writer but he says what i've been saying for years.
Lakers>ALL (including Celtics!)

The Lakers are the greatest franchise ever because of their incredible collection of trademark stars on and off the court.

Greatest comment I've ever received.

I agree, but being a Lakers fan, I would be a bit biased....

but it's true tho. No many how good or bad you are, you're going to be noticed around the league, city, state, world! If sasha or luke was on another team.. other then probably Knicks or boston and some others.. you'd probably never heard of them.

My friends are non-nba fans and even they know who mbenga or sun yue is. LOL.

Boston has three more championships, 17 to 14, but the Lakers have everything else -- more wins, more playoff wins, more superstars, fewer bad years, etc.

Raps Fan here..

I'd have agree whole heartedly... overall, some of the best players, greatest dynasties, longest traditions, have come from the Lakers.

That was a GREAT GAME!!! btw...

not a fan of the jersey pulling Dwight Howard... although he is an amazing player

GOODLUCK IN GAME 5!!

I think playing for the CHAMPIONSHIP 50% of the time over 60 years, and only missing the playoffs 5 times in those 60 years pretty much says it all.

It's not even close. Heck, the Celtics missed the playoffs, more times than LA's entire history, consecutively, in the last decade. Same with the Bulls over a similar period. Only the Spurs are competitive with the Lakers record and they'll have to continue this current pace for 25 more years to match the Lakers.

It's not arrogance... it's history.
