Off-topic responses on the current affairs board

Post#1 » by R33D33 » Sat Jun 13, 2009 10:35 am

Before I start I can't say I'm not guilty of this violation as I've used a thread to ask about another posters position in a particular area (as this was the last time to my recollection that I've made an off-topic response in a thread).

But it seems posters are bent to make certain remarks either to bait other posters (which interestingly enough was what got me suspended) and give the excuse that they are merely making a joke. I'd rather not give any names since I'm not interested in calling posters out but making a post that has nothing to do with the current topic seems to be a daily problem.

I don't think this problem will be solved in anyway but I hope the amount of "jokes" will be turned down. I'm not suggesting people can't/shouldn't joke around but I'd prefer if it was a done in a rather obvious manner and keeping it to a minimum without repeating it in another thread.
