Official 2007 Schedule Thread

Post#1 » by IggyTheBEaST » Wed Apr 11, 2007 5:35 pm

The schedule is posted on the Eagles website. What do you guys think. I like how we start off slow to get All the kinks out, but then the end is pretty tough:

"it looks really hard starting with that game against New England - the Eagles host Seattle on December 2, play the Giants at Lincoln Financial Field on December 9 and then have brutal road games at Dallas (December 16) and New Orleans (December 23)"

We also have to play the bears and the jets.

Dont hold me to this, but on first glance, I give it a 10-6.

id say 11-5. i think they will lose a couple of divisional games - one to dallas and one to the giants. i dont see the skins beatin the eagles this year. id be surprised if they do better than 11-5. they will lose to the pats since they have to play at foxboro. i think they will beat the bears because grossman flat out sucks and it will be at the linc. they might lose a game to some crappy team.

It's a real tough schedule...the stretch here:

Sun., Nov. 25 @ New England 8:15 p.m. NBC*+
Sun., Dec. 2 Seattle 1 p.m. FOX+
Sun., Dec. 9 Giants 1 p.m. FOX+
Sun., Dec. 16 @ Dallas 4:15 p.m. FOX*+
Sun., Dec. 23 @ New Orleans 1 p.m. FOX+

Will define our season. We better go into that with a strong record...

Can we even things out this weekend against the Redskins on Monday?

Sixers_610, where abouts in Boston are you from?

I went to school near Worcester, and my girlfriend has family in central Massachusetts. I spend a lot of time there...and where are your seats?

It'd be nice to have some support that night...it could be a long one.

being in the Philly area, I just do not see the Eagles having a winning record at this point. I'm hoping they do have a winning record, anything and everything that is better than the cowboys. But last night, jeeeezzzz! Andy Reid is in some serious denial stating that there only needs to be some tinkering and work, and they'll have it corrected. I dont think so. The receiving core sucks. Reggie Brown is utter disappointment. For a guy talking two years ago about being a #1 go to receiver, he looks like a #3 or 4 imo, compared to what Baskett, Avant, and Curtis are able to. BTW, Curtis should've had held on to the ball!!! Missed opportunities, which might hurt the record at the end of the season, if they do turn it around soon.
with the Eagles being my #2 fave team in the nfl, this is disappointing all around. management needs to open its wallet(s) to get this ship back on track. otherwise, i hope every eagles fan just bans themselves from going to the games & buying all their paraphernalia.

Awesome at least three of us will be there, I heard the Pats fans can be pretty tough to opposing fans...we'll give 'em hell...
