I dont think he is putting him in a box or forcing a ceiling. Just being realistic as of right now and hopefully motivating him to take it to the next level.

I dont think there was ever an official quote or transcript of what was said, but the way i read (which is perhaps wrong) was that at their best Jefferson and Love will be no better than #2 and #4 options respectively. Again whether he was right or wrong is not what im debating, i just dont like the way he approached it.

Okay ... we are taking this way too far. 10 different peiople will have 10 different opinions yadda yadda yadda. Everyone is speculating if he is in right or wrong, which is worse than what he said or intended to say in the first place.

So lets not talk about it on a forum used to debate and discuss topics such as this!!

I disagree with your suggestion that we agree to disagree...agreed? Wait, never mind.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Debates are intended to have a point that can be supported by facts. Posts disagreeing with any statement based on a difference of opinion have no point because there are no given facts to support it.

I don't understand why saying that Love is the fourth best player on a championship team is such a bad thing.

Take a look at the guys that could be considered the fourth best on the tow finals teams this year.

Lakers: Andrew Bynum or Lamar Odom

Magic: Rashard Lewis (All-Star) or Jameer Nelson (All-Star)

If Love ever reaches that level, I think that he'll be considered to have had a very good career and to have been an excellent pick.

How is winning a championship being put in a box?

Two things on this.

1. It's a little comforting to see that Kahn has a realistic take on the roster.

2. If this is an indication that he'll try to use the media to call players out instead of handling things in house, I find that extremely unsettling.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''

It was not the media. He was sucking off some ticket holders.
