LA should be a playoff team this season with or without Hossa, in my mind. They have the talent and last season you finally saw them start to put things together. In face I could see every team in the West be a playoff team if that were possible.

I think Hossa should go to the Kings. I think it would be a good fit for him and the Kings. Even though he didn't play like the Wings hoped he would this post season, I think he would be a very good veteran presence for the Kings younger guys to look up to. I just think the pressure got to him this year in Detroit.

Playing against the team he bolted from certainly didn't help his cause any

You mean the off-season to start? And yeah I can see why.

LA will be ridiculously stupid to do the Pronger trade - Johnson is a stud and they give up their pick too? Can't see them being that stupid. . .

Gaborik is basically a lock to go to LA; if they can bring him in and offer a long term deal to Hossa, then wow. Especially if they then move Johnson and filler for Heatley.

If that happens and Quick can be as good as he was this past season, look out
