KLN's Vote Mock. (#5)

Post#1 » by Mecca » Mon Jun 15, 2009 3:20 am

Hey, I've been going around, in every teams forum, and seeing who their pick would be. So far, it is:

1. Griffin
2. Rubio
3. Thabeet
4. Evans
(Nets GM - 2018 - 2021)
2019 & 2020 Eastern Conference Champion
Milwaukee Bucks (2025)
PG - Dylan Harper - DLo
SG - Jaden Ivey - Ja'Kobe Walter - Bones Hyland
SF - Jaylen Brown - Terrace Mann
PF - Tobias Harris - Sam Hauser
C - Thomas Sorber

We probably won't keep the pick but if we do and that's the scenario that unfolds, we'd most likely go with Harden.

Is it worth waiting a few day's over to see who you'd guys get? Is Harden a lock on who you guys would want? Can I close it down, and give you Harden, or should a wait it through?

Another vote for Harden here. There is some support for Curry as well on the board.

It would definitely be Harden or Curry. I'd say the majority of this board leans toward Harden but a not insignificant contingent favors Curry. Nobody really knows what Ernie Grunfeld would do.

My vote would be Harden.

I took Curry, but I'd be shocked if he isn't a long second place finish in the poll to Harden. And if anyone else gets any votes, I'd be surprised.

The board wants Harden. I want Curry. My guess is Ernie Grunfeld will draft Curry and trade him to the highest bidder.

Tough-one, gonna go with Curry, he's a winner and he's only going to get better....could even go higher than our pick.

I took Harden. Let him and Nick battle it out for starter 2-guard and 6th man.

Curry seems small on a college court. He will be too small on an NBA court. I could be wrong. Hill and the rest are reaches at 5.

I think Harden is a better idea if we keep the pick. I think it is a toss up Harden is gone and it becomes a question of Curry vs. Evans. I think the Wizards probably take curry and trade down.

To me, it's not a question. If the pick isn't traded and Harden is still there, we thank whoever picked Evans and choose Harden.

Harden is the best player available so we pick him no matter what we eventually do with the pick.
Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

I'm picking Hill.

Why, He's a rebounding force on both ends of the floor. He's a very good defender something we need badly and has a mid-range shot out to 17 feet. Has good size for a PF and very athletic. Someone is going to get a very good NBA player if they pick Hill.

We get killed on the boards and this kid will help us win. I think we will trade the pick but if we kept him I'd be very happy.

I'm all in for the Bosh trade. Bring on Bosh.
