Hey Celtics fans, while it's gratifying, as a Lakers fan, to win the championship this year, it still irks us that we didn't get the chance to avenge our game 6 beatdown from last year.

Here's hoping your team makes it back to the finals next year so we can have a second chance.

You better hope you can resign Ariza and Odom or your team's not going anywhere. That being said, I look forward to seeing you or the Nuggets in the finals next year. :wave:

Lol at the Nuggets

They were a one hit wonder who will likely go back to being just a playoff team next year.

I say that Houston, a healthy Spurs team, and possibly Portland are our biggest threats out west.

Lakers fans are starting to feel themselves a little too much here...they think they beat the Pretenders, and now they are good enough to beat the Celtics too!..I guess that 39 pt humiliating game 6 loss last year, wasn't enough..now they want more..haha...be careful what you wish for kiddo's.. :lol:

Im just kidding..looking forward to a real NBA Finals next year..with the 2 best teams in the league...

A whole thread about me? Aww shucks. Congrats Deep, tony, shobe, all laker fans. Enjoy it. It's a fun time, I'm jealous.

Lakers did what I thought they would, beat Orlando in 5 or less games. Though this talk of defense on their part is getting a little overrated. They played the same ball they did last year before they got to Boston. Orlando wasn't a worthy foe imo. Cleveland or Boston would have made you guys sweat.

Next year oughta be good. We're on the verge of restocking, while you guys are on the verge of overpaying Odom and Ariza. I like our chances.

I'm not sure about that. Their big men don't scare me that much. Perk and Ilgauskas would have male raped Birdman etc.
