see these threads are what takes the jam outta my donut...WHAT are you basing this on, and do you have any sources, or you're just saying what you saw in the playoffs with Smith and his coach having the frosty relationship?

simply lol. you're talking too much here Mary, he's not Kobe, Dwight or anybody at the level to trade 4 players. Now Lopez and JRich, sure why not.

no ones mentioned a shaq deal for Smith imagine a Smith Amare front court we would be as fast as we used to be
Smith
Amare
Hill/Barnes
J-Rich/Barbs
Nash

what if we could do a sign and trade J-Rich for Marion

Smith/RoLo
Amare/Amundson
Marion/Hill/Dudley
Barbs/Barnes
Nash/Dragic

can anyone say contention and the highest scoring team in history and a decent defensive team with marion and smith

lol let's not get ahead of ourselves....Hawks probably don't want Shaq, and Sarver won't pay Smith's trade kicker

SarvKerr don't want Marion back, and I doubt he wants to get back.

However, IF a miracle happened and that above lineup came to fruition...holy xenu.

Only way we can get him is giving up Amar'e and hes the only guy I would be willing to give Amar'e up for other than Jeff Green right now (of course not taking into consideration Kobe/Lebron/Paul/Wade). I would easily do a Smith + Law + Claxton and the 19th for Amar'e + Tucker. If Claxton retires, we save around 5mil + another 5 for lux tax, and gain some young talent in the 19th & Law & Smith. BUT if Atlanta is willing to give us Smith + crap for Shaq, I'm all for it. Especially if they don't want to sign Williams long term, throw him in the deal for a 5/45 deal, and we're set for next year basically.

Speedy + Smith + Williams for Shaq + Tucker. Resign Hill and sign Rasho Nesterovic.

Nash/Lawson/Dragic
J-Rich/Barbosa/Dudley
Williams/Hill/Dudley
Smith/Amundson/Dudley
Amar'e/Rasho/Lopez

Interesting team but i doubt Shaq would want to go to Atlanta, especially if Smith and Marvin were gone. There chances of wining would be less then if he stays in Phoenix.

he does seem to have a super low bb iq though. I'm not sure. I'd do it for Richardson, but not for Amare or Barbosa.
