Funny Championship thoughts

DISCLAIMER!!!! By no means is this a rumor...by no means am I saying this to be true...there are no sources about this "potential trade"...and please please do not be insulted by this...it is not mean't to be insulting, I thought of it as something funny that I think you might appreciate. I can understand if this bothers someone though...please know that it is from the best of intentions. This is just a thought that I wanted to share since it involves the PHX Suns.

I was talking w/ a friend and he mentioned how the last two titles are now jokes. Kevin Mchale won last years title for boston by trading KG for AL Jefferson and pure crap and how Memphis Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley unequivocal level of atrocious of management gave up Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown.

He went on to ask what would be the bulls/suns equivalent of such a trade. Say Bosh or Amare for Tyrus, but even Tyrus shows signs of being alright, and already is much better than Kwame Brown. It'd be more like trading Aaron Gray for Bosh or Amare.

Now say, in the infinitely minuscule chance that occurs....the bulls also win a championship. The champions Bulls, Lakers, Celtics...will all have won one due to **** GMs and 2/3 of the 3 champions will have been crowned due to help from old teammate (McHale/Kerr).

I guess what I'm trying to say is that...man...there are some **** GMs out there.

I just thought this thought was kind of funny and wanted to share...mods lock it up if you think it's dumb.

I'm probally in the minority when I say this but I actually liked the trades for the Grizzlies and Timberwolves. The way their current teams were constructed they weren't going anywhere and they both got young talent out of it and have a chance to build on that.

As for the Suns, if they do trade Amare to the Bulls i'd hope at least Deng and draft picks are comming back.

As unlikely as it is that the Bulls will win another title soon, I'll say this. If Kerr ever made a trade (i.e. Amare for Tyrus or Deng) resulting in Banner #7, I'll believe that there is an NBA conspiracy surrounding NBA Finals match-ups.

At least consider the fact that the last three NBA titles have been won by three of the top four franchise leaders in championships - Spurs in '07 (with 4), Celtics in '08 (with 17) and Lakers in '09 (with 15) ... then Bulls in '10 (with 7) ???!!!

Once again, this scenario is highly unlikely, but it is interesting to think about.
