Indiana accepts, we hate to lose Arenas who in a recent article was quoted as he was "feeling great," but felt this was a deal we couldn't pass on. Ignoring Arenas injury history, we were more worried on how his game would translate with the Pacers, in this deal we break his contract into two smaller pieces and acquire one of the more underrated wing players in today's game on both ends and a proven pure PG that can run our offense and provide some veteran stability. Iggy and Miller have proven they can co-exist in the backcourt, and be effective, as the two best players for a playoff team the past two seasons. Saying this both can be had in the right deal, but despite their age, I like their fit with this Pacers team.

Was real bored, decided to add pictures, lol.

Confirmed. We have wanted Kidd on our team for a while now and are happy to pair him up with Dirk again.

The Charlotte Bobcats and Denver Nuggets have agreed to a blockbuster deal:

Bobcats trade/Nuggets receive:
Shaquille O Neal $21,000,000
Rodney Stuckey $1,805,040
Dan Gadzuric $6,749,260
Total: $29,544,300

Nuggets trade/Bobcats receive:
Nenê $10,520,000
Jason Richardson $13,333,332
Luke Ridnour $6,500,000
Robert Swift $825,497
2010 DEN 2nd (Portland has the right to swap)
2011 DEN 1st
Total: $31,178,829

Why the Nuggets do it: The 2010 free agency class is going to be one of the strongest in NBA history (even with Bosh and Wade signing extensions). As it is the Nuggets have a solid core of Billups/Richardson/Melo/Nene/Perkins, but I feel that in order to become a championship contender we need to have the assets to add a third "superstar" to our core.

Financial flexibility is one of the things that NBA teams covet, and after this trade I drop almost $17,000,000 in guaranteed salaries for next year, and almost $20,000,000 the year after that. We give away a lot of future assets, and a big chunk of our core to get a guy who will likely retire after the end of his contract, but I think that Stuckey/Melo/Perkins will be a good core even after Billups and Shaq retire. We will have the opportunity to consistently add good free agents every year, and I feel that we also have a chance at winning the championship this year.

Losing the first, second and Ridnour then adding Gadzuric is a pretty big blow on top of what I already give up, but since his contract expires the same year as Richardson's and he will have a role on this team I don't see it as a bad thing. I also have a ton of point guard depth, so I don't have any major worries about the loss of Ridnour.

EDIT: 2nd round pick added

Atlanta terminate Sean May's contract prior to the trade

Atlanta and Philadelphia have a agreed to a deal

Atlanta sends Etan Thomas - $7,354,500

Philadelphia sends Allen Iverson and Joel Anthony -

$5,848,000 + $1,000,000 = 6,848,000 * 1,25 + 100,000 = 8,660,000 > 7,354,500

Atlanta do this deal since they can offer AI all the backup PG and SG minutes and we believe next to Kobe he would try to play defense harder and accept his role (come off the bench) without cause us major problems. We believe he should still be a formidable scorer and we should have 20-30 minutes available for him.

Joel Anthony could be a serviceable big man and he is locked in a cheap contract, if we decide he is not good enough we can let him go next season.

Bobcats accept this deal. We had to choose between Stuckey and Rondo, so we flipped a coin and Rondo won. Jason Richardson provides the offensive spark that we'll need and Nene adds toughness to our frontcourt.

Orlando and Cleveland have reached an agreement on a blockbuster deal.

Troy Murphy/Mike Conley/Corey Brewer for Pau Gasol/Anthony Carter/Desmond Mason

$11,047,619 + $3,883,800 + $2,916,120 = $17,847,539

$16,452,000 + $825,497 + $825,497 = $18,102,994

Orlando is excited to bring in Pau as we feel he is an exceptional compliment to Dwight in the front court. We will miss Murphy's 3 point ability and Conley's potential.

Orlando accepts.

Cavs accept. We took a slight talent hit in the post to gain talent on the wing.

I'm not suprised some don't want me to get Gasol but it is mos def a fair deal, especially in comparison to some of the other deals that have happened in this game.

Murphy is undervalued on these boards(#2 in rebounds, #3 in 3FG%, #13 in efficiency), Conley is a legit PG prospect that showed some great stuff last year, Brewer is on a rookie deal and plays good D.

I would be vey suprised if this deal wasn't allowed to go through.

One of my goals was to cut back long term salary and this trade achieved it. Lou Williams was not going to see playing time behind Jarret Jack and newly acquired Nate Robinson. San Antonio is very happy with the swap of James Jones and Jamario Moon as it adds a vet sharp shooter to our squad that can play both SG/SF and sit happily behind Dunleavy and Batum.

San Antonio is also very high on Jeff Pendergraph making adding the Utah first rounder for a salary dump very easy to do.

Atlanta and Detroit have a agreed to a deal

Atlanta sends Joe Smith and Maurice Evans

Detroit sends Kurt Thomas

1,990,000 + 2,500,000 = 3,490,000
3,800,000

Salary obviously work :P

With Iverson and Joel Anthony acquisitions we have no playing time for Joe or Evans. So we decided to trade them for an expiring to save LT money next season.
