Well the reports are saying its very unlikely that he wont work out for any team so i doubt he would for the kings but he is getting a physical done which is better than nothing.

God I hope we get him. He would just bring new life, and that's something we need severely.

You would seriouslly draft a player that won't work out for our team? A player that we pretty much have nothing more than some youtube videos to judge him by...

I'm pretty there are scouts in the Kings that followed Rubio for some time and had a good feel of Rubio's game IMO. Or at the very least, Petrie has connections that have seen Rubio extensively.

Id say the Kings have a better than 50% chance Rubio is still on the board when they pick. Never know though, the draft always has a few surprises.

i really think that the kings will trade up for him if they have they feeling he will taken befor the 4th pick. Really i just cant see him not on the kings on the end of draft day.

the kid seems really humble and confident in himself. i like that he doesnt talk himself up *cough *cough JENNINGS!! and always mentions that he wants the get his team mates involved. even if he doesnt live up to the hype i still think we need to draft him so that the kings can be back in the spotlight.

At least Jennings will partisipate in workouts. :_:

I like Rubio. I really do. But there are serious concerns about his contract and the fact that he won't work out worries me.

Yeah it really concerns me to that he may not be able to play over her this year. I know that should not be a huge deal as we are probably a few years away from being a playoff team, but I would prefer him to be playing for the Kings this year.

According to Ailene, the Kings are running him through some "drills in an early afternoon workout." That's good news.

I think that the work out thing is 100% his agent being a dick. He is an international icon at the age of 19, and he is holding a lot of the cards. Does it make him look bad that he wont workout? Yes, but I understand why he wouldn't, even though the reason sucks for us. I still think we should do what it takes to get him and give the name of the sacramento kings something worthwhile.

Good interview with Amick from the Rise Guys from this morning.

It sounds more likely that Rubio may drop to 4!
