I was there at the 88 Parade in front of City Hall when I was 10. I saw Magic and Kareem on the float.
Then in 2002 I flew home from New York after seeing the Lakers win it all in Jersey. I took the train from Claremont all the way to Union Station. It was great a train full of Laker Fans chanting and singing. When we got to Union Station there were tons of Laker fans and we all walked down to Staples Center, waving our flags and t-shirts.

But this one looks huge. The route I think is too long though and it's sad they put up that Nokia thing because there's where we all gathered to celebrate right outside Staples back in 02.

i couldn't be there. My company actually issued a MEMO there is a black out day and no one is to call out sick unless you have a doctors note.

I'm sitting here miserable reading as much news on realgm as i can.
