The Steelers are going to run him into the ground this season, subjecting him to the curse of 370. Kiss his career goodbye.

Really doubt that. Navenport is getting plenty of carries, and Ben looks amazing not to mention their recievers and TEs are too good not to pass to.

Straight from the coach's mouth:

"We're going to ride Willie until the wheels come off," Tomlin declared. "He's game for that, he's in great physical condition, he wants the ball, he's a competitor and he's showing he's capable of doing that."

Why would you even say that you're going to "ride a player until their wheels come off?" Surely there's a better way to say you're going to shorten someone's career by about 10 years.

I think Tomlin is a smart guy and realize that there is a high chance he will ruin his feature back's career when he doesn't need to. Steelers' offence has 5 good WRs and a good backup RB, I think he will come to his senses.

He's good, real good, and underrated. He already had 1700+ total yards and 16 TDs last season.

Ugh.

Seeing as how Football Prospectus/FO has gotten mainstream media and even coaching acclaim by now, you'd think coaches would at least hear of the Curse of 370.
