How much heavier will Durant be next year?

Obviously Durant doesn't have the sturdiest of frames.

But last off season he came back 15 pounds heavier.

So how many pounds is Durant going to put on during the off season?

I went with the 10 bucket. I don't think I've heard anything about him specifically focusing on bulking up (could be wrong though). I think he'll add some weight just from hitting the weight room more in the offseason, but I don't think it's going to be any rediculous

6 pounds in a month and a half or so and he has 3 more months to go? Sounds like another 15 just like last year.

Heck if he keeps adding 15 pounds an off season 2010 he'll be thick enough to play PF and Green can move to SF.

there's diminishing returns involved here, as he puts on weight it becomes harder to put on additional weight.

durant's got a slight frame, he'll probably top off at 235 or so imo.

With Durant being as thin as he is I don't see the diminishing returns really being on the radar just yet.

he was noticeably bigger this year i think another 10 pounds would be good for him. if he does add 10 pounds i fully expect the see the thunder eventually move him to the pf on occasion.

I'm guessing 5-10 pounds heavier. If not, at least transform his baby fat into muscle haha.

When Durant was drafted i believe he weighed 220lbs at the combine. if he did gain 10 lbs during his first season and now another 6 pounds he should be 236 lbs.

236 that pretty close to being good enough size to play at least half the time at PF. To me he needs to be the PF of the future because Green doesn't have the length and could never gain that.

I don't think Durant needs to get a whole lot stronger. He's kind of the Chris Bosh, Marcus Camby, Tracy McGrady molds of thin frames. Those guys have done just fine by being long and skilled rather than strong. I think if Durant adds about another 10 lbs and tops out and around 230-235 he should be fine, I'd rather him maintain his agility. He's never going to be a PF, he's a scoring machine that's suited for playing SF.

Exactly, please no PF for KD. Maybe see some time there in a small lineup but that should be all. Kevin Durant is a SF, and one of the best purest scorers this team has seen in a long time.
