MIN can hit a jackpot in draft - Rubio/Thabeet!

I think Rubio for sure will go 2nd (than traded) and if OKL picks Harden, SAC will pick a pg (Thabeet only in scenario if they make a trade Thabeet+player for nb.2 Rubio) so Thabeet will slide to 5th.

5th pick again will be traded and if NY is really crazy about Curry or other teams have a huge packages with Was I doubt the trading partners will pick Thabeet. So he could slide to 6th Minnesota.

So a trade Love for 2nd (I highly doubt 6th pick is involved) and Thabeet picked 6th could be a jackpot draft for Minnesota.

Hardly a jackpot if we end up with Thabeet. More like two 7s and a BAR...so we win nothing with the 6th pick.

I think OKC will pick Thabeet if Memphis doesn't.

I've seen Harden to OKC alot but if Rubio goes two I still think they take Thabeet. They need a center and SG, but a defensive center seems like a bigger hole. Thabeet's alot like Tyson Chandler who they traded for before Chandler failed his physical.

6(evans) + minor incentive for 4(harden or Thabeet)

something for pick in 10-13 range to nab clark

Rubio
Foye (can rely on his shooting more if he has a good pg next to him)
Miller/Brewer/Gomes
Jefferson
Thabeet

I actually like it a lot. If Thabeet slides I'm willing to take the chance. Even if there is a huge risk that he is a bust. He is exactly the guy we need next to Jefferson with his defense. I don't like him earlier because he has such a high risk to bust but if we have added Rubio I think we can afford taking that risk.

I would try to get the #5 before the #4. Unless Sac-town is asking for less, they are no threat to take Harden or Thabeet.
