K Love says he's not getting traded

Post#1 » by RD&KG2 » Wed Jun 17, 2009 1:38 am

According to his twitter, he is pretty adamant that he isn't going anywhere and is a "Proud T-wolf".

With McHale on the way out, Love's biggest supporter/fan is out of the decision making arena. I am not saying this means Love will be traded, just that he has a higher chance to be then he did. Maybe the thoughts of trading K. Love are what drove McHale to leave...

I'm pretty sure McHale thought all the upcoming player turnover that Kahn is alluding to was something he didn't want to be a part of.

I refuse to take anything that comes from Twitter seriously. I mean, come on just say that word out loud a few times....twit-ter, twi-tter, twitter..that's one dang hilarious word.

I'd say it's like any rumor. Take it for what you will.

He's not getting traded ... YET. Safe to say Love probably has very little idea if he's on the block until he's traded.

I'm strongly against trading him, but if we do, I'm confident we'll get a very positive return. A rookie PF averaging a double-double has value.

Some teams will get caught focusing too much on creating CAP space vs. comitting to long-term player performance & chemistry. At some point, you need to ride it out and build stability.
Flip response to Love wanting out, "He has no reason to be upset, you're either a part of the problem or a part of the solution"

This Jefferson rumor scares me. The only sense it makes is that Kahn wants to blow up the team and bring in a new roster, basically making one huge move to put his stamp on the team. If that's the case if I'm a TWolf fan I hope he focuses on Love and keeps Jefferson. Better to deal Love for a draft pick in the 4-8 range than do that horrible, horrible Jeff and 6 for Amare deal that cannot possibly be true.

Well, looks like K. Love has his back up career set (aside from infomericals) if he decides to quit wasting time doing this NBA thing...

Are you kidding??? :) :)

Kluv...#5 draft in a loaded 2008 year.
Led rookies in double doubles.
Almost averaged a double double if not for enough minutes(25mpg).
...and he's a way better shooter than he showed.

In THIS YEAR'S draft, he's worth minimum #2.

I would only do this after we trade the #6 for Oden.

Evans/Foye/Brewer/Jefferson/Oden
