Please,by all means, refresh our memory of how long we looked for a pg that could run this team before we lucked into Rondo??

I mean, above average pgs are laying by the roadside by the dozens they're so easy to find.

Maybe we can sign Marcus Banks or Orien Greene? They were AWESOME.............

That's because he didn't think he would find a team stupid enough to take him. Thank you Mark Cuban.

I bet Cuban didn't think he'd find a sucker for Raef's contract. Those were a couple brutal years. I hope Rondo doesn't get traded, and if he does I hope it's a clear upgrade at a couple positions of need.

as it stands right now, I wouldnt be shocked if nothing happens. On the other hand, It also wouldnt shock me if we made a deal. Am I for a rondo trade? If DA thinks it makes us better then go for it. He did create the moves to get us number 17, so I trust him. I hope we keep rondo and hope we resign him, just not to an insane deal.

The list of guys that "weren't going to be traded is long." Of course Rondo isn't going to be traded, unless of course his value in a trade exceeds his value on the court and then he is gone.

When did everyone on this board go off their medication anyhow? Everything is in absolutes again.

i doubt he's going to be traded either, but dont think it's because danny said that. Remember 30mins before the draft danny said there was nothing going on and he didn't expect anything to happen, then BAM, ray allen.

Yeah we kept looking for a pg and instead we added an All Star PF and SG to our All Star SF and won a championship. PG was overrated then and it is overrated now, Derrick Fisher and Rafer Alston just squared off for the championship.

I am not trying to knock Rondo but a players value is a players value you can't overrate it because of position especially pg becuase there are so many more options available.

C's fan overvalue the spot because since Sherm Douglas we haven't had a good one in here. Rondo is the best since the general.. That being said Danny is smart not to fall in love with one PG just because we have made some bad choices.

So we didn't need Rondo to win a championship last year?

So are you saying we win last year with Eddie,Sam and Gabe running the point?

I think you undervalue Rondo.

All I know is come 2010, Rondo isn't the guy I want to see the Celts pay big bucks for. Better to trade him now and get some high value in return, rather than commit long-term to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
