1. Patriots
2. Colts
3. Cowboys

.
18. Lions third-string QB Dan Orlovsky, speaking about Jon Kitna, told the Detroit Free Press: 'Indy can have Peyton and New England can have Tom, but we wouldn't trade this guy for anyone in the world.' Uh, Orlovsky won't be a GM anytime soon.

Detroit is the very last ranked 2-0 team, behind lots of 1-1 teams and just ahead of several 0-2 teams. That said, I can't complain too much because we've been bad for so long and we've beat two teams that aren't all that great. It will be interesting to see how we would move up if we beat a winless Eagles team

I've got the Lions 14th but that's probably a bit homeristic on my part. We'll know a lot more after this weekend.

I saw on one of the sports sites where they had the Lions ranked 12th or 13th this week. I think it may have been FoxSports.com, but I'm not certain of that. It also said if we were to beat the Eagles we would have to be given serious consideration for a top 10 team at this point.
