Scabs you are on a roll!

I absolutely love our defense against Eli. And I think that Campbell could have a breakout game against that Giant secondary.

I hate to be negative nelly, but this team's history has done that to me. I'm worried that this might be a letdown game. It seems too good to be true to start the season 3-0.

btw, the game will be nationally televised on Fox with Joe Buck/Aikman doing the game.

i had had two martinis at this point so i asked her if he every shouted DAGGER in the bedroom with her.

she looked at me kinda strangely and said she had no idea what DAGGER meant.

I hate went Aikman does Redskins games. Like I said before if we are not 3-0 I'm going to be a little dissapointed. We got the hard part out of the way. If we can protect the QB and create holes in the running game should be able to make this a statement game and run away with it.

Agree with JRo, this is the very definition of a trap game. Would be really nice to head into the bye week with a win.

In the past this would have been the perfect trap game and we probably would have lost.

Not this year. Joe Gibbs has this team believing and motivated. I see an attitude I've never seen in a Redskins team for the past decade.

This game will be a real downer if we lose because were 10X better than the Giants but I'm 100% sure we won't.

btw Plaxico Burress has a sprained ankle and will be iffy for this weeks game.

And Laron will pick off the Pilsbury throw boy twice after Eli suffers a season ending hit by Laron.

Skins should win because they rely on good defense and the run, which doesn't vary much from game to game. Few big passes by Campbell and it'll be a rout, otherwise close but a win. Knock wood.
Help us, Obi-wan Leonsis. You're our only hope.

Skins start off jacked at home. Get up big early... say 17-0.

Gibbs gets conservative and the defense gets a bit too "preventative."

We hold 'em off for a 23-20 win.

Aaron Ross will be starting this week for the Giants at CB along with Sam Madison. They might also be starting Gerris Wilkinson at LB who has seen absolutely no playing time.

This game has the potental of a massive blowout.

THe Redkins should win...that doesn't mean they will. If they win, then we are for real this season. If we lose, I don't think we'll do well this season.

THIS IS A STATEMENT GAME. We gotta show people we can put teams away!

Why did Gibbs start running out the clock in the third quarter?

And then why completely abandon the run when you've got 1st and 10 on the Giants 35 with over two minutes left?

Why throw on second and goal? Why rush to snap the ball on 4th and goal?

:dontknow:

Not a HOF coaching day for Gibbs IMO. I think him getting too conservative in the third quarter caused everybody to get tight. Pretty crappy way to go into the bye week.

Run the damn ball, This was a joke of a game, Redskins were lucky it was even close, if the giants receivers hadn't dropped everything in the first half it would have been a blow out.

Way to trip over your on blocker on 4th and goal for the game. I was still steaming about this game.

Not quite the well-oiled unit that Joe Gibbs Racing is.

Man, that last possession was frustrating. It showed the sytemic ineptitude of our offensive play calling unit. It is of a piece with all the times we haven't gotten plays in in time in crucial situations.

Frustrating loss for sure, considering we were up 14 in the 2nd half. I agree the play calling got conservative, and its surprising considering Gibbs tried to end the game last week in Philly on that missed throw to Moss late in the 4th.

Fortunately, we got Detroit in 2 weeks, and then Green Bay, which will be a big game for us as well.

**** happens...I'm over it. No need to dwell on it any longer, though these next 2 weeks are gonna suck having to wait for them to play again.
