With all the rumors about Minny and PHX talking trade, I wonder what it would take to get in on the Al Jefferson talks (assuming there's any legitmacy to the rumors).

What about:

ATL sends: Horford, Speedy, #19
ATL gets: Al Jefferson

Minny sends: Al Jefferson, Madson
Minny gets: Amare

PHX sends: Amare
PHX receives: Horford, Speedy and #19

Al Jefferson

I would do it, and i think every Hawks fan would do it as well.......MINN is not going to do it, but wait, McHale is still the GM right?!?

Jefferson is also cheaper than Amare and signed longer which is very important to a team in Minnesota's position because it would be a legitimate concern that Amare jumps ship when he's a free agent.

No way Minnesota participates in this.

Yeah, I also doubt Minny does it. Front page article seems to squash the rumor anyway.

Madson would've gone to PHX in any case.
