15 Year Old Got $8.4 Million Contract In Spain

Spanish Euroleague club TAU with a €3 million euros net income contract (equal to an $8.4 million NBA contract) to the 15 year old Croatian player Darijo Saric. Saric is 6-8, athletic, and he can play all 5 positions on the court. He is supposedly projected by the Croatian basketball program to be better than Drazen Petrovich and Toni Kukoc.

I think it's hilarious how Jeremy Tyler and Brandon Jennings thought they got paid.

with this 1year eligibility rule before entering the nba, this is an option for young players today. go european. rather than sit in college and pretend that your going to class.

You're quite wrong. The €3 million include the buyout to the club and the price of an 8 years contract, so....nothing to compare with Tyler or Jennings.

Obviously it's A LOT more than Jennings and Tyler got.

It doesn't say he'll get €3 million euros. It says he could get up to €3 million euros. Sensationalism at its finest.

Man. My son is 6'3 in 7th grade and hooping it up pretty well, but we were only thinking which HS he might go to.... I have to get him over to Europe quick.

Nope, never seen him play. I did hear about him though, just passing on what I know. He is supposedly fast, athletic, outstanding ball handler and can play all 5 positions plus he can run a team on offense and is said to have a pure shot with unlimited shooting range.

The last 2 years he was named best player in European junior leagues even though as a 14-15 year old he was playing in the 16 and 17 year old age divisions.
