in such a weak draft, their are not that many fan favorits in the 2nd round.
with a question mark about the backup PF i guess for right now, my top two choices is Gani Lawal and Garret Siler

Re: 2nd Round Pick?
yep, Gani pulled out.
I'd expand your list a bit:
Garret Siler an actual C with bulk.
Alade Aminu 6'10 athletic, would be the first Georgia Tech guy to develop more in the pros than he showed at Tech.
Jon Brockman, a stocky rebounding machine from Washington.
Jeff Adrien, potential to be a poor man's Dejaun Blair from UCONN.
Josh Heytvelt, good offensive potential as backup PF out of Gonzaga
Chris Johnson, thin, long shot blocker from LSU.
One mock has DeMarre Carroll a very athletic wing forward from Mizzou falling to us. I see that as unlikely as some have him going in round 1.
Leo Lyons has skills out of Mizzou as well, but I seem to recall some red flags on him.
You also have the potential guards that could drop:
Toney Douglas, FSU Mr. Everything. It is unlikely he falls that far, but someone falls every year that you don't expect.
Rodrique Beaubois, could he be the French Rajon Rondo?
Danny Green, UNC solid wing, I've seen him all over the board on mocks. While I hate UNC, we could do worse and I think he could contribute year 1.
My lists are a bit long because I don't get to see the players work out or interview them. If I did I'm sure the list would narrow to a few targets. I do see all of these guys having a chance to make an impact at the next level as rotation role players. Siler, Brockman, and Aminu appeal to me most. Siler has the size, but I'm not sure of the athleticism and ability to stay in shape. Brockman isn't tall but is a rebounding fiend and lord knows we could use that. Finally, Aminu has my attention because of something he said in an interview. He said that he could make a Chris Anderson impact for a team that gives him a chance. If he can back up bringing that much energy then I'm sold regardless of where he stands skill wise. I'm tried of the timidness of Solomon Jones and general lost feeling I see in Randolph Morris.

Give me Toney Douglas, who has no conscience but will buy into Woody's defense first to get on the floor.
I would take Meeks as well after watching him develop in Kentucky. He has a very deep accurate shot.
The 2 Marquette guards, combo Wes Matthews (son of the former Hawk) or McNeil.
If we are not solid on resigning JJ, we have to start getting guys ready to contribute just in case.
