I like this trade better:

Boston trades: Ray Allen, JR Giddens, Gabe Pruitt, #58 pick
Charlotte trades: Boris Diaw, Nazr Mohammed, Vlad Radmanovic, #12 pick

Boston gets useful player (Diaw) and draft pick (#12) but loses 2010 cap space (Mohammed, Radmanovic)

Charlotte gets useful player on a 1 yr deal (Ray Allen), two young players (Giddens, Pruitt) and major cap space for the 2010 free agency bonanza while keeping their core players together.

Boston takes Terrence Williams at #12.

I barely want to rely on Steph as a backup, let alone as a starter. Perk would be tough to swallow as well. But obviously we get DWade so it has to be considered. I don't even know if Miami does this though.

Perk/JON
Beasley/Anthony
Moon/Diawara
Ray/Cook
Rondo/Mario

looks pretty solid for them though. Good mix of offense and defense.

If Ainge could acquire Wade in a Rondo/Allen package I would do it every day of the week! Anytime you have the oppt to bring in a player of Wade's caliber you do it and worry about rounding out the roster afterwards.

KG, Pierce, Wade trio wins you a championship as long as you surround them with guys who can walk and breath. Actually, I think KG, Pierce, and Wade alone could get you into the playoffs. That's with them playing 48 mins a night and never getting a break.
