You forgot to figure in contracts in your valuation. gay will be a RFA, love is locked up for 3 years cheap.

Love=#2
Gay=#6 plus more incentive, like taking on jaric and /or 18 or gomes.

still don't think you guys do it, but it is out there for consideration. gay regressed last year and love did better than expected.

its as bad as Amare for #6,Jefferson :lol:

Love is a good rebounder but i doubt he will be a all-star,hes probley gonna be at Bogut's level maybe a little better

As a Wizards fan, this deal stinks for us. It's a complete non=starter. Dealing Etan for Miller barely save us any money. I like Smith, but I like Blatche more. And the notion that the sixth pick is worth Rudy Gay, but the fifth pick is worth a million dollar salary dump doesn't make much sense.

As someone who's impartial about the other players in the deal, I think Love is worth the #2 alone, and that Gay is probably worth more than the #6. I wouldn't hesitate to trade the #5 straight up for value equivalent to Gay (though Gay himself doesn't fit well with our roster), if that's any indication.
