I actually would like for this to happen. It gives us a reliable secondary scorer and more athleticism on the floor. Only problem I have is the quitter attitude that he has, but I think everything that he brings to the table outweighs his cons.

If you had VC this year you would of beat Orlando and maybe would of even won the title. Let's face it I'm not even a Cav's fan but respect the team, getting VC would put you guys over the edge he's going to be effective for sometime and he would be perfect along side LBJ. He won't be a guy that will take the ball out his hands but can also run the team's offence, he can post up when needed and has mad range and attracts attention it will make Bron's job even easier and make him more unstoppable. He has not only been very healthy the last 5-6 years but has been very efficient. Having Mo play the 1 or 2 is not going to get this team over the hump beating teams in long playoff series with bigger guards or great small forwards. I'm a Net's fan my self and would love for him to give Cleveland a chance to win if this really happens NJ does not have a chance to win unless they rebuild or make big changes.

I would do this. Because then you move VC to SF against Orlando and have Lebron guard Lewis. Against Lakers you keep them at the 2 and 3 so Kobe cant coast guarding Delonte. Against Denver VC is still too big for Donte Jones.

I know that Nets are tired of Sean Williams. He has his issues but he is too close to a major city and too close to Boston where he went to college and got suspended. But in Cleveland I think it could be different. He is a legit shot blocker and super atheletic. I think if we add cash and our second rounder they would easily throw him in. If we add more maybe they do Boone instead?

Nets fan here - I dont like any of these VC to cavs rumors but if tue, I think JJ hickson would have to be included.

For what its worth, I ran this through the RealGM trade checker thing, Ben & Sasha for Vince, and it rejected in part due to both teams being over the cap. Besides, it also says VC has 3 years remaining. If that is correct, do you really want him through age 35? And to forget about signing a stud next year? No way in HELL!!

cater is signed for 09/10, 10/11 and only 4.5M guantee in 11/12.

If Vince goes to Cleveland this would easily form the most dynamic duo of all time. Screw Batman and Robin.

Vince is hard to motivate but when he is he is one of the best ever. Two example of this are in 2000 when he was initially excluded from the Olympic team over Ray Allen. When he was eventually given the spot on the team he was easily the star of that team and played his best basketball of his career in a"take that" style.

The second example is the way he plays againdt the Raptors every time he is back at the ACC. He has but on some performances for the ages. Time and time again. This would easily put the Cavs as the favorites next year.

Now if only they could get McGrady...another under achiever with motivation issues.

The capper is if they get a real coach!!!!

I also think Ben Wallace is a shadow of his previous self and is now one of the worst players in the league. This trade would be a steal.

Is it me or every rumor out there right now the same ones that we've been talking about for the last 2 years. Vince, Shaq, Randolph, they are all rehashed old rumors.

I would do it if it was Ben and #30 for Vince (Sasha doesn't need to be in that deal- he would just cost NJ more money) or Ben, Sasha, #30 for Vince and Yi or Ben, Sash, #30 for Vince and Boone. Don't have any interest in Sean Williams. I would prefer Boone if we were able to sign CV or Sheed, but maybe we're going after Yi now that we have Chinese investors. Can't get Yao so what's the next best thing? They would love the marketability of Yi and Lebron in China.

Anyways, if we were able to do Ben, Sasha, #30 (and a future pick) for Vince and Boone. Sign CV for the MLE.
