Bring Bosh!

Post#1 » by SnakefromHell » Sat Jun 20, 2009 6:15 am

Colangelo says best option might be to trade him so they don't lose him for nothing.

Bring him!!!!!

KMart + Kleiza (sign and trade) + 34th pick

heck I'd do Nene + Kleiza

He'd be our answer to Gasol.

So it's official then, Bosh is terrible and he should never be anywhere near this team.

We don't have the assets to be involved in any significant trade.

Wrong! Toronto would rather trade him and get something in value than losing him for nothing... Nene and Kleiza is a nice package to ignore. If FO settles with Nene knowing it can upgrade to Bosh, I'd be hella mad. And there are 1000 Kleizas (white boi with outside jumpers) in the L.

ya you think the Raptors wont get a better offer then that + it has to be a sign and trade cause that way Chris Bosh gets the most money (you have to sign with original team then get traded)

denver would have to give Nene + JR Smith + maybe a pick in a trade

K-Mart + Kliaza is horrible

K- mart is old and is a bad contract why would teams give up good players to get him + Klieza is nothing more then a MLE player

Bosh plays **** D and takes too many shots.

He can't lead his team to anywhere despite being surrounded by shooters and being in a crappy conference.

Actually, that sounds about right. Obviously Nene would have to be involved, but he isn't really proven he can stay healthy, so we'd have to throw JR.

Now I'm not a huge Bosh fan, and I think he's overrated, but he is a guy you can build around. His market value is way higher than Kenyon and LK. Kenyon is still a negative contract, and LK is basically worthless.

Nene + JR for Bosh would kill the team. Bosh would be a huge downgrade on defense from Nene. And the second the team struggles, Bosh will start throwing team mates under the bus. We don't need that.

Of course, Kmart + LK for him, yeah.. do that. But that's a Snake idea. So no way it happens.

K-Mart and LK? Definitely.

Nene and LK? Probably.

Nene and JR? Hell no.

I agree with everything thats been said so far. If we could get Bosh just for Kmart and Kleiza, hell yeah, we take that and run. But the second Nene or Jr's name comes up, we're out.

Unless you are Colangelo's crack dealer; theres no way this is happening. "IF" Bosh decides he doesnt want to stay in T.O; we'll do a sign and trade. Hell, even if we decide to trade him today; i'm sure we'll get 20 trade offers better than that

Hell, I'd do Nene and Smith, just to get Bosh and Melo together.

First off where do you get that Bosh throws teammates under the bus?? You act like the guy is a cancer.

And 2nd there's no way in hell you are getting Bosh for you're overpaid garbage and trash talking JR Smith.

Dream on Denver

Dream on Denver

Just remembering the reports out of Toronto that said Bosh was calling out team mates.

And no one is dreaming here (least us sane ones). No one believes Denver could move Kmart (whose far from garbage. He plays something called defense, I understand you don't know what it is being a Raptors fan) for Bosh. But the only way it makes sense for Denver to get Bosh is by moving Kmart.

And that guy called MJ did some trash talking. Guess you wouldn't want him either, eh?

Since when is Bosh calling out his teammates on an underperforming team a bad thing?

And are you seriously comparing the best player of all time to JR Smith? When you're MJ you can talk trash all you want but even then I don't remember MJ pulling the kind of stunts JR does. MJ simply exuded confidence.

haha JR to Jordan comparison maybe you can trade KMart and JR for a Brain there Scarecrow

It is a bad thing. If you have a problem with a teammate, keep it in team, don't be a little whiney baby and cry to the media about it. And I'm not comparing JR to MJ.

Although a guy who scored 15 PPG against the Raptors on 50% FG and 50% from three, I can see why some "trash talking" would make him a bad player to have.

So then KG is a bad teammate as well because he called out Glen "Big Baby" Davis? Who I might add has since started to bring it. Some people respond better to being called out publicly then behind the scenes and others do not. You don't know how long he may have been calling his teammates out privately and had no one stepping up.

Actually you did compare the two

And that guy called MJ did some trash talking. Guess you wouldn't want him either, eh?

I realize you were trying to be funny but it was still a comparison and you tried to use it in your argument with me.

Now on to JR shooting well against the raptors it's well known that we're not the strongest team defensively and that our weak perimeter defense makes are defense as a whole look even weaker then it is does our poor defensive play make JR a stud? Not IMO.

Did I mention we're not trading Bosh for KMart and JR yet?

Toronto will not walk away empty handed if Bosh leaves and BC won't be accepting low ball trade offers of the likes you're hoping for.

If Bosh wants out we'll do a S&T and teams are going to have to compete to get him and he's in serious demand especially in 2010.

Did we mention that is the best offer you can expect from Denver, and I feel even that may be overpaying for a one year rental for Shareef Abdul Rahim the 2nd.

Right Because Bosh is a restricted free agent, teams have to give up something good to keep the Raptors from matching.

Oh thats right Bosh is not restricted, so now the hope is that not only will some team overpay him with a max contract, but that Bosh will agree to go to the team the Raptors want him to.

Do some research, even in the rare cases that an unrestricted free agent does get sign and traded the free agent picks the team, and his former team gets very little in compensation, if anything more then a TPE and marginal picks.

1) I repeat, We don't want anything Denver has to offer for Bosh.

2) If Bosh goes it WILL BE A S&T (you don't leave 30 mil on the table)

3) Bosh would be fairly flexible in where he goes in a S&T and there is enough demand to get a good decent return

4) We won't be signing a guy to a MAX contract and receiving nothing in return it will at the minimum have some good players involved with non-BLOATED contracts.

5) Take a look at the recent PHX-GSW rumor for Amare. That's somewhere in the remote range of getting a deal done and that didn't happen.

6) It's just as likely that Bosh stays in Toronto.

7) Buh-bye
