But Maggette and Wright would be perfect. I liked how Wright played against us last year, basically dominated, and if he can play with that kind of fire he would get plenty of minutes.

Deron/Price/20
Brewer/CJ
Maggette/Korver
Milsap/Wright
Okur/Koufos/Fes

Assuming Boozer bolts, but if he doesn't we are a contender.
Bye Bye Sloan, Good Riddance Deron. Hello new Era in Jazz Basketball.

A player like Richardson is what Utah has been missing. Pure firepower that can cut to the hoop and finish/ and is a major 3 point threat. Having both those abilities allows great floor spacing. He is also a ok defender (not the best/far from the worst). I could see him excelling in Utah as much as i could see AK47 doing in PHX.

Pretty even trade for both teams if you ask me.

Exactly what I was going to propose.

AK will get more value as time goes on, just because of the expiring factor.

Fair value-wise but I am not convinced of the fit. I wouldn't be happy or angry if this happened--just sorta depressed because of the fact that AK went from top 10 player in the NBA to being on the same level as Jason Richardson.

I'm sick of the AK trades. Just wondering, does anybody think AK will play better if Boozer leaves?(Preferably for Richard Hamilton)

I would think that Ak and Okur would play better, if Boozer were to leave.

Play Memo at PF, play AK at SF, play Koufos as C, keep Millsap as the supersub off the bench....... Let Boozer go, or sign and trade him only for assets......

Memo had his best season playing PF in 05/06 when Boozer was injured. AK had a great season then too........

Koufos/Fesenko/Okur
Memo/Millsap/AK
Kirilenko/Harpring/Miles
Bewer/Miles
Williams/Price

Plus free agent, and draft pick.......

That team would perform better than the one we had last year....... We would have much better defense, and solid offense......

AK really doesn't fit the game we try to play. He has never developed any sort of reliable outside shot. He insists on driving into the lane with his chin high dribble which usually results in a fast break for the other team. Most of the time on defense, when he doesn't get his touches, he floats around aimlessly.(rarely even raising his arm to provide some difficulty for the offensive player) Gone are the days when he was a devastating defender from the weakside. People need to realize that the AK we have now(in our system) is not the player as the AK from years ago.

And it's not only AK's not more the player he was; rivals just don't respect him anymore, he's been viewed as a soft, mentally weak guy for too much time now; rivals play him with confidence (almost disrespect) and that's not gonna change any time soon. He will never be again a "core" player for us; he will be a good role-backup guy.

I think AK does more good for the Jazz than is easily measured. Sure he's not the player he was, and he's certainly not worth his contract, but trading him for an equally bad (or worse) contract doesn't remedy that, especially if it doesn't clearly make the team better.

Trading him for two smaller contracts may make it easier to change the parts. Aks whining and crying has gotten old.

I think that excuse has gotten old. When was the last time AK "whined and cried"?

He only needed to do it once for me to want him relocated. The playoffs was not a time for individuals to be concerned about themselves. When it mattered most he demonstrated that he cannot be relied upon. In his blog he always questions his "touches". Maybe he should have worked on his skill set instead of planning vacations then we would be forced to have him touch the ball.
