Bucks Trade Idea (Redd or RJ)

Post#1 » by bigballajohn » Sun Jun 21, 2009 4:41 am

Most ppl on the bucks board have been really interested in getting a second lottery pick in the hope of getting both Jordan Hill and Jonny Flynn. Would the Wizards be interested in doing a deal involving Richard Jefferson or Michael Redd for the 5th pick, Mike James, and Etan Thomas. You guys would get a talented player that could put you back into playoff contention and get rid of some players and contracts that don't help you.

We aren't looking to "get back" into playoff contention. With the roster we have right now, this team will make the playoffs. We need a player in a trade that puts us over the top. RJ and Redd don't do that, so pass.

Frankly, in my opinion, no SG or wing player does that. If we can't get a solid big man in return, I'd much rather just keep the pick and draft a player on the hopes of future productivity.

Bucks, no chance the Wiz trade for Redd - he's completely different from the type of 2 the Wiz want.

Re Jefferson, there's a guy from Wisconsin named Butler on the Wiz roster. If Butler is traded, then let's talk. Otherwise, it makes no sense.
