LA/Boston
Would you guys do a Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, and Tony Allen trade for Baron Davis, Marcus Camby and Al Thorton? Would rid Dunleavey of his Baron headache, make some room in your front court and give you a young point to go with Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin. The salries also work in the trade checker.

Re: LA/Boston
Yes.. Yes I would. Allen is a 19M expiring right? Huuuuge trade bait. Rondo was sick in the playoffs this year. And Tony Allen.. The only thing I know about him is that he injured himself twice trying to showboat on a dead plays.
That and he got some death threats during the playoffs. >.>;
We'd lose Camby at the end of this season.. I like Thornton, but like others have said he's more of a big spark off the bench than a true starting SF. We could probably use Allen's contract to get us a really good SF in return and perhaps more. Baron just doesn't fit with Dunleavy.
Rondo/Taylor
Gordon/Collins/Davis
(don't feel like thinking of a SF that's on the block)/Novak/Allen
Z-Bo or Griffin
Kaman/Jordan
Not bad..

Re: LA/Boston
Like Fishy said all we would need is a SF and we'd be fine.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

With that lineup and that kind of money to spend in 2010.
LeBron comes to mind. Major market and a stacked team seems to make sense to me.

Thats actually a really good trade for us. I would do that in a heartbeat. But why would you want to get rid of Rondo?

I just don't think Ainge wants to pay Rondo. This way we get Davis to replace Allen's scoring. Our bench become very good. We get to bring Camby off our bench as a big and Thornton would be an excellent energy slash scorer off the bench for us. We can then either through another trade or MLE get a two guard who can defend and make open shots so Pierce doesn't have to cover Lebron, Kobe and the gang by himself all the time. Makes for a more well rounded team. Maybe you guys throw in your second round pick as well so Ainge can work his usual draft magic.

Correct, Portland gets our second rounder via the Mike Taylor trade last year. Don't be surprised to see Dumbleavy trade for another second rounder on Thursday though.

I think the CLips would do that trade, but not Boston

Yea, i dont think Boston fans or the Boston organization would give Baron a warm welcome with this trade. On paper its pretty fair, but not chemistry-wise. But as a clipper fan, i would love this trade. I like how Rondo leads a team and his overall game. Ray Allen would probably be trade bait or a 1 year rental. Good try though.

Re: LA/Boston
Rondo would llok like the avg. player that he is without those 3 HOF around him
, IF he was really that good would Bos really shop him this hard? If you think Bdiddy is was a waste of money wait till Rondo gets his big deal
. Honestly clippers just need to Dump Kaman/Zbo and give Baron 1 more yr, IF he plays up to his days in GS I dont see why clipps can't make the playoffs this upcoming yr.

I like the trade for LAC. Not just for the expirings & players involved but the biggest asset is the ATTITUDE of the players involved. Getting rid of an overpaid cry baby in BD and replacing him with winners.
