I wouldn't be too averse if we dropped the stand-down time for the IL to 3 games, more likely 4.

2 games isn't enough. People draft safely (like me) with something like this in mind - not wanting to lose your top players to injury for chunks of the season. 3 or 4 I can live with, it's basically a week of fantasy basketball whereas 5 is often elongated to well over a week, upwards of two.

I'll talk more about this and other matters later...

I second the notion that self-policing works...I think it's the best way to do it. Let's save Jordan some time and trouble...

AS for IL time, 3 games seems fine.

And, while we're at it, if we're going to self-police the IL, I say we drop waivers too.

My thoughts:
- my preference is to elininate IL altogether (it dilutes the FA pool too much...and I dislike having to check the commish note everytime i look at the waiver wire, to see who's eliglbe to be added or not)
- if we decide to keep it, i'm in favour of reducing it to 1 slot, and reducing wait time to 3 games (agree with jordan that 5 games is more like 2 weeks, rather than 1...which is a little too long)

I have, and it doesn't really say anything related to the replacements of players that are already out.

Simple answer - no.

Late June/early July will be where everyone is confirmed and the draft lottery conducted.

Personally,

In a 20 league, no IL, if you got a injuried guy, you gotta make the tough decisions, drop him, play on hobbled, etc.

As well I think their should be a max cap of moves (Add/drops) of 30-35 total including playoffs... That means you can do add/drops in the beginning, but it may come and haunt you near the end of the season. It involves some strategy and thinking what's the best course of action.

That's my personal opinion.

Like do you need someone to co-sign to get you released?

I think the IL is needed... without it you have one injury to a main guy and you are pretty much done for the year. 2 IL spots, as per usually, works for me. I am impartial to max moves... don't see an issue for myself either way.

We're getting close to the scheduled time for announcing our replacement(s). Any word yet?

It would be a shame to lose east, Kohanz and 3Si. They've been in the league for years.

The three of them are traditionally quite active, but they're also traditionally quite MIA during the Summer...

correct me if I'm wrong but I thought east wasn't very much active during the season. Maybe I mix him up with someone else, I don't know for sure.
