Yeah, half the reason they traded Billups was because they thought Stuckey was the future at the point. Wouldn't make much sense to draft another one.

I just read an interview few days ago about Detroit wanting a point guard in this draft. Someone like Ty Lawson. The article quoted Joe Dumars in saying that they thought Stuckey would become their next #1 point guard but he disappointed but is a great combo guard, which is why Detroit is searching for a pure point guard. The reason the kid said on pacers.com was whack but i do know for sure they want a point guard as Stuckey's not exactly the player as they had hoped he'd develop.

For those who missed it the first time around, Pacers.com will have another Fan draft on Tuesday at noon. I actually have a meeting to go to at 11, and it will be over around noon. So i may not be able to participate if it runs a bit over. But just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

If the Pacers bring in a player on Tuesday, fan draft will be moved. As of now, Pacers are not bringing in anyone but Bruno said they may.
